I want Jones to stay but that means Veach has to cave to his demands. We haven't really seen Veach do that.

If Jones signs today, I would guess we've already agreed on a Sneed trade. Otherwise, we would lose a bunch of leverage announcing the Jones deal as it would make it more difficult to carry Sneed's cap hit. So the dominoes probably will end up falling together.
