I wonder what the straw will be that breaks the camel’s back. At some point contracts will plateau, and it’ll be interesting to see how that shakes out.

What a joke it will be when Tua gets paid.

That would be a great honor for the city of Detroit. A true blessing. |

YTTV - $75/month or $375 for September through February Prime - $15/month or $75 September through January Peacock - Let's pretend you have to pay $6 for 5 months.. $30. Those 3 for the football season are $480 or $96/month (even though you could technically pause YTTV after the SB and save 2-3 weeks, and doubtful you'd need Peacock for 5 months). I'm sure Sunday Ticket is thrown in there for many fans though. (and **** the NFL) |
Nice comeback story none the less. There's some parallels to Alex Smith.

Looks like Goff still had $27 million of cash remaining in his old contract. So it’s basically $197 million for 2024 through 2027. And a non-guaranteed team option for $42 million in the 2028 season.

What I don’t get is if you are a QB like Goff. In a perfect situation with a young team. Is it really crazy to take 45m a year to help the team actually win something.
We are so ****ing spoiled by Mahomes. |
