I knew that Gary Andersons kick wasn't going to be good. He didn't miss all year so I knew for sure he would miss and cost them the SB.

If they go with Sam Darnold, they will suck dick for sure. Landing them a top 10 pick to add talent to the roster. McCarthy seemed like he was having a nice camp so maybe they will be ok with throwing the towel this season to build around their new QB and stud WR corp.

OR

They will want to be more competitive this year and trade for our backup, which would be cool if we could rip them off real quick.

Seems fair.

Have them throw in a third

While reassuring Darnold is number 1.

Sure Vikings, sure

Bummer. Haven't watched their game yet but I heard he played really well.

People hear meniscus and think it's no biggie, but if it's a full repair it's at least a couple months typically. If it's just cleanup (debridement) then that's when you hear the cases of guys coming back in just a few weeks. After 4 of them I'm kind of a reluctant "expert".

That's why I think it's more than they are saying.

I had a meniscus repair, and I was walking 36 twice a week within 7-8 weeks.

I then had surgery to repair my other meniscus, and when they got in it was basically gone, so they cleaned what they could off, and I just don't have a meniscus in that knee. After that surgery, I was back on the treadmill at the gym, and walking 36 once a week, in about 9 weeks.

I know that's not football, but a professional athlete, with access to the very best surgeons, trainer and rehab specialists, etc. should be able to recover at least as quickly.

Even if he was out 2 months, that would still only be 4 games. If he was truly going to be their starter, and they are at least 2-2, why wouldn't he come back?

I don't get it.

Well shit. Now we have to wait a year to watch him suck.

If that happens they can trade the pick and really load up for the next few years as they already have their QB.

Some day, you get a new knee.

No such thing as bad juju. Wishing injury on a player has no effect on anything. If something does happen it's just called coincidence.

Yeah, I have been told that I can get one when I hit 55, if the pain requires one.

So far, at 53, it aches when the barometric pressure drops significantly, or vice versa, and when it's really cold out, it sucks, but it's actually not been so bad.
