I hope Pat or Trav offers to pick this up for him. That’s utter bullshit, the guy makes poverty wages for NFL standards. That’s probably 5% of his yearly salary, that’s simply unjustified nonsense.

KC_Connection 12-14-2024 07:44 PM

An absolute disgrace. Clark better pay for that.

New World Order 12-14-2024 07:47 PM

LMAO

What?!!!

notorious 12-14-2024 07:47 PM

That happens nearly every running play.

Good lord.

Couch-Potato 12-14-2024 08:38 PM

This is absurd. That was the most typical football play I’ve ever watched, absolutely nothing there. Can he appeal?

suzzer99 12-14-2024 08:58 PM

Can he appeal?

stevieray 12-14-2024 09:08 PM

MVChiefFan 12-14-2024 09:29 PM

I would have rolled my eyes and been irritated with a $10,000 fine. But, this is absolutely asinine.

T-post Tom 12-14-2024 09:38 PM

Roger, was that you? Whoever did this: MEET ME AT THE GEORGE BRETT STATUE TOMORROW AT NOON! WE'RE GOING TO HAVE WORDS, THEN I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU THE WORST WET WILLY YOU'VE EVER HAD.

Yep. It's football, man. I mean, I think it's still called that.

Demonpenz 12-15-2024 04:14 AM

There was one play that I recall in my years of football that I was fine with offensive player getting fined. It was Kareem hunt using his helmet as a battering ram into a defenders chest. I can understand that because of head and neck issues. This on the other hand didn't even look like he lowered his helmet. Total wtf

Chief Roundup 12-15-2024 07:44 AM

****ing stupid

DaFace 12-15-2024 08:47 AM

I understand why they don't want fines to be based on salary - can you imagine if Mahomes was fined like $5m for this?

But it sure feels like there should be a percent based CAP. It's asinine that they basically rescinded Pop's entire game check for this.

Wallcrawler 12-15-2024 09:35 AM

It seems ridiculously high. Aren't these usually between 10-15k?

I mean this wasn't even malicious or hot-headed, the two players didn't even so much as exchange glances at each other after the play.
