This was my thought too. The passing game was off and he was experimenting with it in a game that was in hand. Chiefs are always working on fixing their shit while they sleep walk through your Super Bowl

1st and 10 with 24 secs left in the 3rd up by 14. One running play runs the clock and takes it to the 4th. Instead we throw 3 straight times and punt before the end of the quarter.

At the end of the 3rd qtr and in the 4th qtr not running the ball was terrible play calling. Running the ball three times in a row and punting is better than throwing three incompletions in a row and getting the QB killed and still punting.
