I don’t think this changes all that much. With or without Omenihu the plan is the same.

Draft BPA. There’s so many guys on this roster who are either here on one o year deals or will be cut after this coming season.

DL and RB positions will likely be picked early bc that’s by far the highest chance for BPA.

Aside from the Mitchell signing, I've liked all the moves Burt Vacharach has made thus far. Team will reload in the draft without losing much of a step. In fact, with improvement at the LT spot.

Hope we get to see what kind of numbers he can put up in a 17 game regular season.

Especially one where he knows if he balls out he's going to get paid by someone in 2026.

Trey Hendrickson didn't do much until his fourth year In the league. Felix flashed some good stuff last season so hopefully he steps up.

As for Charles. Delighted to have back. Year one he had a camp then missed six games. Year two he has no camp and missed most of the season recovering from an injury. If he can have a good camp and start the season well this could be a huge year for him imo.

I want Hampton so bad, it would take this offense to a completely new level.

When Omenihu was on the field last year, our defense was much improved. This is great news. Great deal for the Chiefs too.

I don’t think you could realistically ask for a better pre-draft start to the offseason. You can name your 22 starters right now in March and actually feel good about it.

As of right now, this team remains the best unit in the AFC and they are far more balanced than they were last year. That is BEFORE selecting four players in the top 100 of the draft.

It’s just crazy, isn’t it? I would say left guard is the only position on the entire team that we’re not 100% certain what we’ll end up with. But, I don’t at all think we’re concerned enough to draft there. So, yeah, the draft is wide open and whichever way we go will just be icing on the cake. I can’t recall ever being in this position. I’m so stoked!
