I have definitely lived in worse places like El Paso, Texas.
El Paso sits at the base of the Franklin Mountain range, cold air comes in off the mountains then hits El Paso where it warms up, rising and picking up trash in the process. So my first impression of El Paso was seeing a swirling cloud of trash floating above the city.

I prefer to be positive, but if you ever have driven into Liberal, Kansas south bound on Hwy 54 there is no way to spin it as a positive. I large hill of junk cars, followed by packing plants and trailer parks. Makes a person feel good about where you live.

No surprise since it's the home of Clint the Wichita Cuck

While I don't wish for thermonuclear war... knowing I would get to watch Wichita be incinerated and uninhabitable is of great comfort.

One of the few places that would look better after a nuke hit it

I lived there for a few months, long enough to figure out I didn't want to keep doing that.
When the wind is blowing from the right (wrong?) direction all you can smell is that meat packing plant and it smells horrendous. Then I was there for a dust storm that lasted, like, three ****ing days. It was like a brown fog, visibility was maybe 100 ft and the second you stepped outside you got dirt all over, in your nose, ears, eyes, hair, clothes. It's a good place to drive through and continue driving.

I hadn’t considered it but I was there this week and my allergies are fired up a little bit

Probably didn’t help driving through when they were burning a billion acres of prairie

I don’t think this is a fastball when your wife sent pics of her butthole to half of this site.

Sure she did, and it's ex-wife.

Maybe she can regale you with pics of her failing liver. LMAO

That is interesting as I fell in love with El Paso doing some sales/demo calls on companies down there. I had an absolute wonderful day at Painted Dunes golf course and will never forget it. Such a great time it was even in consideration for our retirement location.

To be fair, I was not on the list…..and I do appreciate that you do just own it.

I used to have to call on a store every two weeks in Liberal and Guymon, Ok selling auto parts.

I bought several "junk cars" from the area and don't remember seeing any trailer parks but no doubt they were there. 69 Barracuda formula S, 340 pink Duster and a 58 2 door hardtop Belvedere. :D

Unless something has changed the packing plants used to be around Garden City. Holy crap the smell while playing golf there!

Sounds like the turnpike as the rest stops are between the north and south bound lanes so both can access it.
I got Mike Bell's signature on my jacket at one of them.

I did Basic and AIT at Ft. Bliss so my experience wasn't nearly as pleasant.
I will say that while most of my Army bros absolutely hated the place I had a pretty good time when off post and away from the training environment. It was even reasonably safe to hop over the boarder into Juarez, but from what I've read that's no longer the case.
