it doesn't make me feel any better jerkoff!!!!!!!!! :cuss: and furthermore that poor planning and drafting made us #1 scoring offense 2 years in a row. but keep talking if that makes you feel better STFU |

You're right. Football is one sided. I guess the Chiefs have been without a defense for so long that they were apart of the team as well. |
Ironic quote of the week, from Dick Vermeil (source kcchiefs.com):
“Players win games not coaches.” Uh huh, that's why we got a defensive coordinator and didn't bother bringing in any new talent. |

this thread is not about the D it's about the O. I'm not defending our D. It's still pretty bad. But I don't think we would be 0-2 if our O was back in 2003 form. You wanted to make it personal with your post not me. Make your point and move on. Stick to the subject. It is not necessary to bring me into the mix. Only jerkoffs do that. |
I can place blame on DV because he put players out there that were clearly not ready. Morton was clearly not ready against Denver, and may still not be ready. The injuries have clearly come into play, but made much the worse by the fact that we have little depth at the positions we are hurt at. The fact that we have the same personnel problems in the fourth year either says we don't know how to grade talent, or become too attached to players to tell them they are not succeeding and perhaps should find a new line of work. We need to also stop trying to draft players who can play ok everywhere instead of great at one position. Farging tweeners.

Sorry I don't buy the Morton and Kennison arguement. Green and these two have been together for two years prior to this. They shouldn't need a whole training camp to get timing down.
As much of a Green basher as I am I don't blame him for anything. He's putting the ball on target. It's getting dropped. That's bad coaching. This brings me to DV to whom I can assign plenty of blame. He's built a hollow team that's rapidly aging. His drafts have been a joke and he clearly has his pets. Flush all that 'profile' talk. He brought a gimmick offense that's getting figured out and he clearly can't deal with making the adjustments needed. He clearly isn't half the talent evalulator he's supposed to be and he's missing out on what small window this empty team of his has. |

And he sucked balls against Denver. Look good in the first half against Carolina. Maybe that was a sign the passing game is coming around. |
Trust me I'm no friend of Greens.
The 20 odd yard sack was incredibly stupid for a rookie much less a 10yr(?) vet. I think the int was a bad route but I won't swear to it. Green is NOT helping things but all in all I don't have a major problem with him. His WR's are dropping everything except their bad habits. Even I can't fault Green there. The biggest problem we have is that DV has built a team that's very thin and getting old. He did it with a win now and to hell with tomorrow concept. He was also banking on the draft to hide the shallowness. His drafts have been monumental jokes and we're starting to pay for it. |

It means "working or done without help. Unassisted" Do you really think that Trent had no help in losing that game? Here's a hint for the correct answer: nothing in football is done singlehandedly. |

The fumble was horrible. It's supposed to be his only real weakness, but Saunders needs to tell Green to start getting rid of the ball quicker. There's nothing wrong with dumping it off. |
