As much as I love our Chiefs, I can't justify spending that much.

Just a bump as a reminder. Shelter has been reservedand paid for. It has grills, bathrooms AND electricity. The grill grates looked way suspect, so, I will bring my camping grate to go over those. burt and burts S.O. will bring dogs, buns, paper plates, bowls, plastic ware, name tags and CHILI!!! (Costco, here we come!!!!)

We lost Flop, Gonz, Patteau, Milkman, Fire Me Boy!, Lonewolf Ed, all fairly recently. I got along with all of them, BUT JUST HERE! Rocky Mountain Chief is either gone or fighting to prolong his life.....I turn 61 tomorrow, I have health issues and want to meet as many of you bozo's as possible. And right now, I got 9, maybe 10 confirmed. Really? Life is too short NOT to meet peeps that we virtually hang out with. Take some time and come to the meet up. Be "The Planet" that we all know we can be.

Damn after the last month and a half I've had I'm doubtful I can make it. My life has been in shambles but working on getting back in a groove again but missing over time for two pay periods and shit happening i'm just struggling to make rent and figuring things out but life can hit you in many ways.

Where is this Raytown Park? A Google search brings up several parks in that area but none called Raytown Park.

I'm considering trying to make it there for a short while before I head to the stadium. Just gotta check a few things first. Would like to meet some CPers who I've seen posting for years as well as see some that I have previously met. I know I met Domer and I think you, too, burt back in the days when we were going the CP flag football games. Boy, that was a lot of fun.

Oh I remember that flag football games. That was a looooooong time ago. I only did it once, I think.

Well assuming I stay for the game, after isn't going to work...lol. So I would imagine sometime before. It's about 14 miles round trip from the park to the Vale tunnel, if I can get going by 10:30 I should easily be back by noon.
