He never had possession, which would be required to rule it a lateral/fumble.

Never had control of the ball, so it's still a pass in play.

Essentially a catch on a tipped ball.

chiefs1111 10-11-2008 10:58 AM

time for Texas to answer back

Illegal forward pass, beyond the LOS.

Who gives a ****? Right now all that matters is touchdowns, not throwing unnecessary passes into tight coverage. You might have a point in an NFL DRAFT THREAD.

Yeah, and the first TD didn't even get into the endzone. Sucks to be you, Texas... sucks to be you.

I thought so at first, but he never had possession... and it didn't seem intentional to me.

Mecca 10-11-2008 11:01 AM

And he runs the kickoff back.

DaKCMan AP 10-11-2008 11:01 AM

THERE IT IS

TD TEXAS

kstater 10-11-2008 11:01 AM

TD Tejas.

OnTheWarpath15 10-11-2008 11:01 AM

Jesus.

If it's that easy, Maclin is going to set a record against OU.

chiefs1111 10-11-2008 11:01 AM

kick return for a TD

Shag 10-11-2008 11:01 AM

Wow, that dude was fast. His legs looked like the road runner, lol...

CupidStunt 10-11-2008 11:02 AM

Why is a Florida fan getting stiff at a fluke Texas TD? This game has no impact on the Gators.

DaKCMan AP 10-11-2008 11:02 AM

I would love to see Brandon James or Trindon Holliday get to return kicks against OU.

Sure it does....if OU loses theres a good chance they'll be behind SC and Florida after this week.

Other than being a college football fan, this game does have national implications.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, that's the reason many are watching.

A lot of people want to see if Bradford is NFL material.

You know a team with as much talent as Oklahoma has shouldn't have any reason to be as bad on special teams as they are.

Mecca 10-11-2008 11:08 AM

Maybe OU has a special teams coach that takes tips from the Chiefs guy?

DaKCMan AP 10-11-2008 11:08 AM

Down goes Bradford.

Uh Phil Loadholt was just to slow on that one.

OU fans are enjoying the class of the conference move up and down the field on Texas. I couldn't give a shit if Bradford was a seventh-round prospect so long as he keeps putting up numbers like 12/14, 140 yards and two scores.

Frazod 10-11-2008 11:08 AM

Excellent. Finally some pressure on that prick.

DaKCMan AP 10-11-2008 11:08 AM

wow,talk about busted coverage

kstater 10-11-2008 11:10 AM

That was all Bradford right there. I mean, to have the ability to see the guy that was open by 50 yards and hit him around the helmet. I mean awesome.

It's hard to imagine a 6'8 guard...he's gonna need to drop about 20-30lbs for the next level.

If only he could have something put in writing that the CB's in the NFL won't cover his recievers.

Then I'd be all for drafting this kid. He can hit a wide open receiver with the best of them.

It's hard to judge if this kid is worth a R1 pick when he never has to make a tough throw.

He's just kind of a weird prospect, alot of people will tell you 6'8 is to tall for a guard, I'm sure that would be a possibility but he'll probably try to drop some weight and workout well because if he can convince teams he can be a OT he has a chance of slipping into the late 1st.

It's a shame the only QB in the country who makes "NFL throws" on a weekly basis is the one who struggles to complete most of them, can't read a defense and is about as accurate as Tim Tebow.

Well, probably a bit more.

OnTheWarpath15 10-11-2008 11:16 AM
