Croyle was a great qb today. That was a top notch defense, playing with a lead at home, he still almost found a way to win, with virtually no help. I think our receivers are better than we thought, and the line is worse.
I guess Castle is in next week, He'll look great against choadland. It wouldn't surprise me if we end up missing out on the better quarterback because of the castle injury deal. I think Brodie is the better QB for us VS Oakland. |

Cassel's had a lot of practice and preseason game reps with the first team, so I expect him to be ready from the get-go. Couple that with the Arrowhead advantage. |

If you happen to be standing over my shoulder at the time, it's a lock. Did you go on vacation this summer? If not, I highly suggest the Alomar Forest. It's fun for you, and great for society at large. |

Raised On Riots, CTTCS_WLR does indeed go on vacations during the summer. He's the manwhore at Boehiem Grove.

This guy has gone through alot. He has defied some SERIOUS odds to make this football team, AND be the back up. ( Which I might add, that I told everyone as early as last April that he would do. ) Good thread brother, and I hope all is well. |

Anybody who has read my posts knows that I have always felt that Croyle can play i this league, and play well. Haley is the best thing that ever happenrd to him, because he will deprogram Herm's BS out of him. It started yesterday when Haley said " what happened to my pass play?"
Herm's pussy methods are not strong enough to keep Haley's bitch slapping personality out of Croyle's head. Honestly, I do Not want Croyle going to the faid or the Donks. I can't live through another Gannon. |

TT was showcased for one play yesterday, just wish he would have broken it. Just my opinion, but I think that is their strategy, they don't plan on trading Guiterez. Another way of looking at it, you have 4 QBs, which one is the most different than the other three? |

He has a great arm. And he can play well if the game plan is centered around minimizing his mistakes (aka conservative). He's not the guy that's going to lead this team to the playoffs. Furthermore, let's not let this one game cloud our judgement. The guy still hasn't proven that he can stay healthy. |

I think they want to at least try and get something for Croyle that benefits both parties involved. I can tell you this much; if Brodie should start week 2 and the Chiefs win, he will absolutely be on the Trade Train out at the end of the year. If Brodie leaves KC, they'll bring in another couple of candidates for camp and let Guitierrez, Thigpen, and the other two battle it out for second and third. Or, if they're dedicated to developing Guitierrez as the #2, they'll just release Thigpen outright at the end of this season. And what a tragedy that would be. |

The fact that Gutterrez wasn't on the roster doesn't bode well for him. Trust me, nobody's gunning to trade for Thigpen at this point. In a game where a fragile backup is your starter, your #3 QB has to be the guy you want on your roster long-term. The fact that it was Thigpen and not Gutterrez speaks wonders. |

It really doesn't matter what Cassel would have done. Brodie Croyle is a known quantity at this point - he is what he is. |

As an all around POV the team looked better than they did last year. |

Sorry, I'm not going to deny you your opinion. I'm just done with this type of stuff myself. There's no reason to be vested in individual players anymore - they either suck or they get shipped off or both. Hell with it, I'm ready for Cassel to play and Brodie to return to the bench. |

I don't understand all the "we did better then we thought" talk this week. You guys must have had the bar set really really low. I didn't expect the Chiefs to win but I wanted to see improvement. I didn't notice much if any improvement. |
