Don't know if you realize this, but a lot of experts say a lot of things. Oakland games haven't exactly been drawing large crowds the last few years. Once Asomugha had his one great year, he earned a reputation. The reality is that the national guys don't see him enough for him to tarnish it. I am not calling him out. I think he is one of the best corners in the league. The only thing that I am saying is that I have no trouble throwing the ball to his side of the field, because over the last two years, even when he gets his hand on the ball (20 times) he intercepts it 10% of the time. (2 Ints) I am not just trashing the Raiders. I was impressed with the game last night. I think it will be a good game this week. I am just not concerned about the Chiefs throwing away from Asomugha.....that's all. |
The defense is going to have become alot more creative with their blitz. Russell isn't exactly fast and we need to take advantage of that. Go wide, but get to the QB, early and often.

The Chiefs made a mistake during the game -- expected
It's always difficult to pinpoint how aggressive RBs (Johnson & Charles) will be during preseason games -- the Ravens were the perfect team to test both RBs. I'm guessing -- they did not do well-- On a different subject -- The Giants could win 5 games this season -- They have a ton of problems -- Special teams played awful-- etc --the Giants 3rd back Danny Ware went down Sunday -- major loss for the team. -- There are two cuts coming up for the Giants -- they have to make room for Michael Boley (one game suspension) and I guess another player will have to go to make room for another RB. I watched the both the Eagles and Cowboys games -- The Eagles defense looks better than their defense from last season -- And the Cowboys high powered offense blew me away.... LOL Between injuries or different things that happen during a season -- No one can predict who will be around by week 17 |

It's gonna be tough. The Raiders are a bad matchup for the Chiefs. They are strong on the DL, and we are weak on the OL. They have good CB's and our WR's are suspect. All in all, as bad as they are, they have more talent across the board than we do. However, the Chiefs will have the advantage in coaching, so we'll see...

Facing a pissed off Richard Seymour twice a season puts fear in me if I'm Brandon Albert or Matt Cassel. The Faid got f'ing strong along the DLine with that move, and I think it was undervalued personally. They gave up high-cost unproven talent for proven talent.....They're DL is a real concern.
However, the faid won't be entering Arrowhead walking too easy or too tall, we pull this one out. |
