that shoulda been off. pass interference.

mlyonsd 10-11-2009 05:35 PM

If that were to happen to a Denver db it would have been offensive PI

I love this level of thinking. Yes, Pioli must have sucked because he couldn't turn the Chiefs into a winner after a decade of horrible moves, horrible drafts and horrible coaching.

What a load of shit.

BigMeatballDave 10-11-2009 05:42 PM

NOBODY predicted Denver would be 5-0 at this point. They are not a great team, but they find ways to win, and thats all that matters. Great coaching.

Plus, NE is not that great. I mentioned this last week and was told I was wrong by a few people...

These aren't last years' Broncos. I was predicting a Bronco collapse most of last season (up through game 12 or so). This team is playing up to their record. I have them at 94% of winning the division.

*shrug* Season is hardly over. You should know that, since you were 10-6 when you won one.

Besides, Pats were 2-2 and lost to the Steve Spurrier freaking Redskins in 2003 before sweeping the rest of the season.

Or are you in the habit of declaring the season over after 5 games?

With Fred Taylor out our running game goes from "ok" to "mediocre".

And our pass rush has been a concern for 2 years now. It sucked in 2008, and it sucked in TC, which is why we brought in Burgess, etc., and it ain't that special now either.

But no team is perfect, and we'll see how it goes. I expect to be in the tournament and tkae my chances with a healthier, hopefully more accurate Brady, and Belichick, and a healthy Mayo.

You must not watch football often, big wins usually show celebrations. How about the cowboys defeating us today, that was a hell of a celebration

When George Halas led the Bears over the Packers in the first game of the 1931 season, he pulled his pants down around his ankles, and ran a victory lap around the field, bareassed, while jerking off.

Given that we play the Raiders and Chargers twice and that Dallas and Washington will both likely finish below .500, we'll probably have a weaker SOS than Cleveland.

We'll have to win two games to draft behind the Browns, so we've got that going for us.

Only two "winnable" games on the schedule.

At OAK and home to CLE.
