Look, Nick is selling inside info, if he had something this specific and didnt report it then, why now?

If it had been reported then, this wouldnt be an issue.

I've asked this question before and it hasn't been answered.

What has Scott Pioli done to inspire confidence in his ability to evaluate talent properly?

Again, how often are trades that don't happen reported?

Rarely, if ever - especially getting specific about compensation.

When it does come out, it's usually well after the fact.

I'd be curious if Clayton can tell us if someone from the Redskins Scout board has any info on this.

How would the Redskins scout have any insiders within the Redskin organization when Snyder already bought out the largest (only) Redskins fan site and made it his own? The Redskins scout site is one of the least trafficked sites on the entire network.

No idea. Just asking a question.

But like I said before, news leaks out of DC more than any other NFL franchise.

He could have heard it from anywhere.

ROFL tommy boy's. Dude O'Callaghan has improved as well. O'Callaghans play has improved drastically since Wade Smith has been playing beside him. Even when Alleman was next to him the running lanes were good on that side of the line. Sure O'Call needs to improve his pass blocking but so does Albert.

Actually no, Albert is a far superior pass blocker. He was stellar today.

O'Callaghan has lead feet. He hasn't really improved. He gives up a sack a game on average, although that stopped the last two games. OK, I guess he improved. Celebrate two games if it makes you feel better.

That's not true. Nick came through in the end. He paid me far more than $500. Still wasn't near what I was lead to believe but he proved himself to have some character when he could have just as easily walked away completely. I've forgiven him for that slight and have moved on. My situation is far better now because I'm no longer affiliated with Nick than it ever would have been with him.

Are uncompleted trades reported on often?

And when they are, aren't they usually well after the fact?

It wasn't news 10 weeks ago, because the coaching staff buried Charles on the depth chart.

Heres the thing Warpath, I've asked Claythan to be a little more specific about where he got this information and nothing has been posted. How would Wipe know? I recall Claythan talking about how Pioli being secretive about info and not giving Wipe press credentials hurt the business. Why was this information not talked about until now? How can I believe a business that doesn't even have credentials?

When he yanked Phobia away from us he took a lot of people with him. I know they didn't all pay $100 memberships... but I'm sure some did. He took one of our most credible members because he wanted our business, he would've been glad to tear this place apart for his own personal gain. All's far, but you have to call it like you see it.

Look im not disputing that Richardson has more long term upside, if he ever reaches it. Based off of what iv seen from him over the last few years its not promising. I'm just sayin for a RT O'Call is a good run blocker. Below average Pass blocker and needs more work but is improving.

Well, having credentials does not equal "having sources". You can have credentials all day long and sit in a press box and attend all the pressers and not know anything at all.

But one would have thought this info would have been at least shared with the people who spend their hard-earned money for the inside information back when it happened - which leads me to believe one of two things:

1. It never happened.
2. Nick is horribly negligent with what he shares with his subscribers.

Either one bodes poorly for people who spend their money with WPI.

O'Callaghan is what he is, a backup. B-Rich should get every opportunity to win the job next season.

As far as Pioli goes, if this draft is full of reaches and Colin Browns, I will be very interested to see how people spin it so that the myth that the Chiefs will be built into contenders in the next 3-4 years can continue to be peddled.

I don't think anybody does. Most the people spending $100 over there are people who don't know where to go for the info. I don't think they get a ton of voluntary renewals which is why part of their model is based on auto-renews with your credit card.

I suppose that is true but I figure if you go to the pressers eventually you would develope some sources unless you're a total cheese dick. Even Nick Wright has some sources who are pretty accurate.

I don't see a reason to believe why he can't be one. He's a young player with great natural skills getting picked on b/c the guy on the other side of him is a stud, he has NO help from safeties, and the pass rush and coordinator are abominable. It's pretty much the worst possible scenario for a player to be in.

3. It just recently came to light because of Charles play of late.

It's a non-story when the guy is a few weeks removed from a healthy scratch, and buried on the depth chart.

It's a bit more relevant when he luckily gets his chance and racks up 1000 yards in 8 games.

That's a fair possibility, I'll admit.

I'm not questioning that Charles was trade-bait. I'm questioning compensation.

We continued to get updates on Boomer freakin Grigsby who wasnt even a Chief, I would think trading a current player was more relevent to Chiefs "insider info" than Boomer.

See today's game thread.

Not all of those catches were 10 seconds the guy just doesn't get his head around which you expect from a NFL Cb.

As far as Pioli goes, if this draft is full of reaches and Colin Browns, I will be very interested to see how people spin it so that the myth that the Chiefs will be built into contenders in the next 3-4 years can continue to be peddled.

Ok but everytime i see B-Rich play he falls flat on his ass. At this point B-Rich is a backup based on past performances truth be told. B-Rich has had an opportunity to win the RT spot when Herm was still here. We all seen how that went. Back to a backup or the practice squad. Maybe we need a new RT, but i know this, O'Call can run block that is evident.

Except that the trade didn't happen.

And for the last ****ing time, it's entirely possible this news didn't leak until recently, considering JC's recent play.

No, some of them were zone coverage.

My point is that many people have no clue. They just blame the guy closest to the WR without recognizing the coverage, or considering the ridiculous lack of pass rush.

Could he have played better? Absolutely.

Was he as bad as people were claiming in the game thread.

Absolutely not.

Short of a player being cut, you don't judge a draft player/class as a failure immediately (though you can obviously see a success immediately). It will only be after 3-4 years before you can be know that a player was a bust or a reach.

I suppose that is true but I figure if you go to the pressers eventually you would develope some sources unless you're a total cheese dick. Even Nick Wright has some sources who are pretty accurate.

When you attend pressers you're there with 3-4 cameramen, 3-4 TV reporters, a couple of print guys, a couple radio personalities, Chiefs PR, and the chiefs personnel on the microphone.

It's not a great opportunity to develop sources.

Are DTs to a team without a DT worth more or less than a second string/change of pace back?

Carolina, who had some playoff aspirations, was willing to part with a 5th for the first. With that in mind, why was that same price too low to pay for Charles, given that you claimed that no NFL team would trade their second string RB for a 5th?

We made a similar trade for Michael Bennett twice.

You mean like the loads of fans who somehow thought Greg Wesley was good because he got INT's?

LMAO

Barry Richardson is a converted left tackle that started 40 games at Clemson. He was also a 6th round pick with ideal size, strength and intelligence.

"We all seen" potential and a better player than either O'Callaghan or Nsukwe.

Hopefully, the coaching staff "seen it", too.

It wasn't just this game either. The games vs San Diego Jackson made him his bitch on a few plays in the red zone. I get it that he's a young CB but I do wonder if Washington is suppose to replace him in the lineup. Looks like the guy has raw talent and was a ****tard at OSU thats why he didn't get drafted until the 4th round.

Its POSSIBLE that Pioli had lunch with Nick and told him all about it...

Jackson makes most CB's his bitch.

6-5 is damn tough to cover.
