This is a much better collection of talent. This is a much better team, but it sadly is a team that got away from Haley. A healthy Cassel, Charles, Berry, Moeaki and Siler should make a team that handily beats the Damon Huard-led Chiefs of yesteryear.

I got the same feeling. Pioli definitely sounded like he knew people (Clark) felt like the roster wasn't in the shape it needed to be in.

Pioli has a short leash now. He has two years max, and if next year is 4-12, I wouldn't be shocked to see Clark totally clean house again...

I was listening to 610 for the presser, and shortly after they bailed and cut away, were talking about an 'incident' b/n Haley and a player. Of course I lost my streaming connection at that point. Did anybody catch this?

Apparently Haley said some pretty hateful things to Bowe, which rattled him a bit. Bowe went to Pioli. Pioli told Haley to knock it off. Haley continued.

I can imagine that Haleys shit got pretty old.

No. Some time before. I think Nick said that Pioli was in the midst of contract extension negotiations with Bowe. Haley was saying some very harsh things to Bowe at practice that caused Bowe to go speak with Pioli about it. Pioli told Haley - chill out, we are trying to get the guy signed and Haley's reaction was to continue the berating using a new adjective.

Sorry folks...Clark said he wanted championships...I'm happy he's following through. Next to go will be Scott if he can't right the ship...I personally love it. How many times did Scott say he was accountable for this cluster**** of a team today? IMO they better draft a QB or he's gone at the same time next year...

Just went back and watched the presser again.

It is interesting what some Planeteers have said ... Clark did, indeed, appear pissed off and focused whereas Dr. Evil looked somewhat ... uncomfortable and nervous.

Methinks an ass-chewing may, in fact, have occurred sometime prior to that phenomenal display of evasiveness.
