Honestly, this organization hasn't won anything in 40 years. We haven't won a playoff game in 20 years. Sure, we've been there a lot in that time. But we have nothing to show for it.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is: I'm not going to get my hopes up when it comes to this organization. Manning would be nice. Even a manning at 50% is better than Cassel at 100%. But I just don't see it happening. Manning isn't about to learn a new offense. Whatever team he goes to will have to basically let him run the offense. I don't see Pioli allowing that. Cassel is his man, I suppose it will remain that way regardless how bad Cassel is.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I really don't think Bowe and Baldwin are Manning type recievers. Manning prefers great route runners with sure hands who are willing to stay late, that doesn't sound like our guys.
