Regardless of what happens if you're a Broncos fan, don't you now not want to root for Dumervil? To me this is a real difference between realistic fans, and blind beyond belief homers. I remember LJs last few seasons I was embarrassed he was on the team.

Whether or not the something comes of this through the legal system or if any action is taken against him is irrelevant. Goodell is still going bring down the hammer. The question is will it be a tack hammer or a sledgehammer.

How would the witnesses/victims know about the gun unless they had seen it? |

The witnesses said they saw two guns. Two guns were found. |

Why is everyone making such a big deal out of this? It's just a simple situation involving a Bronco, a gun, and a motor vehicle late at night. What could possibly go wrong?
|
12 pages of replies I ain't gonna read. But has anybody suggested the new spelling of DUMBerville for his name?

Like I said earlier, Dummy probably won't do time, but don't be suprised if Goodell opens up a shoe store in his ass. Justifiably so, too. |
Elvis has the left the vehicle?

Owners should be allowed to keep these guys in cages during the offseason.

It's funny. These guys have millions of dollars. They have fame. They have women. They have all the perks that come with being young superstars, but it's not enough. They have to be able to threaten the lives of people on the streets, in bars, etc. and get away with it to boot. **** that. Throw the book at this prick.
|
Seriously...I hope he goes to jail. It's assholes like all of them in this situation that gives governments fuel to come after legit gun owners.

I take it he's gay and hasn't come out then?? |

On the other hand, a system like that would reduce the risk teams face when picking up a player with character issues, and I don't necessarily want it to be easier for thugs to break into the game in the first place. |

I was trying to interject a little levity with the lace panties part. I haven't actually heard what was thrown at the RR. I thought it was a little over the top for 2 guys to jump out of their car and threaten a lady by showing their weapons. |

This could be a scenario similar to the one Chumlee was in, where his friends beat up a guy while Chumlee just stood there. The only difference is Doom's buddies had guns and didn't harm anyone. |

Elvis may escape any legal issues, but the mere impropriety may get him 4-6 games off.

Court records show Dumervil has pleaded guilty in six traffic cases in Littleton, Aurora and Douglas County since 2006, including charges of speeding more than 20 mph over the speed limit and driving with a suspended license. Jeepers. I was going to ask how the guy still has a license, but apparently he doesn't. How dumb does a person have to be to have six traffic cases in six years? Can he not figure out the cause and effect of why he's getting stopped? |
