Besides rejection of the lung, infection is the #1 cause of death from lung transplants. |

Best to his family. |
I was just told about Crazyhorse and wanted to pay my respects.
I didn't know CH on a personal level, but have conversed w/ him on the board a few times. I was unaware that he had lung cancer and was going through transplants. More shocking was how young he was when he passed. :( My heart goes out to his family and friends. RIP, Crazyhorse. |

I had a couple of PMs back and forth with him asking him how he was doing months after his first transplant. He appreciated my asking him and replied very kindly. That's all. But his passing is a shock to me because I was hoping he'd get a good lung the 2nd time around and pull through. |

Crazyhorse may you rip and go to the kingdom of god and receive your seat next to god. God bless his family in their hour of grief.
|
Sorry to hear that. I know as rivals we enjoy taking the piss out of each other, but my condolences. Rest in peace.

RIP CrazyHorse... He was a very level-headed poster who had been dealt a crappy hand in life(or by the white man which he never said), yet he went ahead and blazed a trail for not only his generation but many yet to come. We should all be so strong.

He fought this battle courageously,he and I connected well for he had the same lung illness my wife has. He chose the lung transplants and my wife chose not to have them.
My wife has lived a good life, continuing to impress her lung doctors while still living. RIP friend. |
This is a terribly sad story and my condolences to his family and friends.
May he Rest in Peace and his suffering come to an end. Remember how fragile life is....... |

He had an 80's Mustang. He posted it quite a bit on car threads. It wasn't very crazy though. You would figured a "Crazyhorse" mustang would have silly straws or something taped to it.

Took a little digging but I found it in the Cool Car picture topic. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...&postcount=485 http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...&postcount=484 http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...&postcount=483 |

Nice find. I Wonder if we can add the mustang to the Top of the page? Or does this place require a camero

One of my very good friends. He and His wife took my wife and I out to dinner to tell us the news when he was diagnosed. He was working out, in great condition, just couldn't believe it. He was the one who directed me to the planet. We disagreed about alot of things concerning the Chiefs and sometimes I would debate him about it. Seriously witty and you'd better bring your A game to get into a verbal smack down with Him. He was the absolute the most honest, transparent person I've ever met. He adored his wife and son and had no regrets when He died. He was seriously a man of impeccable character, but if he said he would beat you down if He saw you, you'd better be on your guard. He spit no empty words.
After He was diagnosed, our conversations became much more candid and heartfelt. He had amazing insight on a lot of things and once told me, "The most valuable thing you possess is your self-respect". He's right. Just thought I would pass it on. |

OK I'm being silly. Sorry Crazy Horse for getting silly in your thread. Pop one open there in heaven for us the still earthbound Chiefs fans. |
Wow, very sad. Just a couple of years older than my oldest kid. Thats waaaay too young.
Prayers for the family. RIP |
Sorry for your loss, CP.

CH once posted a YouTube video of it and it was a tire smoking monster. IIRC he told me the engine was a Mustang 302 stroked to 347, forged bottom end, roller top end, around 11:1 CR. Just a nasty street rod. |

Crazy Horse and I didn't always agree, but then again this is Chiefs Planet and that's pretty much what we do here.
RIP. |

In this one you can hear his voice and that is his son starting the car. His son will keep this car. As you can tell in these videos there was already a lot of work done to the car as far as the underside and the engine compartment. |

It is a 64 and 1/2 original v8 mustang. He basicly bought the title, the car was in that bad of shape. I don't know that there is a bolt or nut in that car that is not new. I am not exaggerating. It is beautiful. It is a huge attention getter too. |
People just keep passing away here, I'm starting to think we might need to be quarantined.
RIP Crazyhorse, thoughts and prayers for the family. |
So very sorry to hear this. RIP and condolences to his family, friends, and those who loved him.
