I would expect Charles' receptions go up and his carries go down slightly. Reid needs his backs to catch passes and have versatility. He also needs his RBs to block. A lot of RBs in his tenure have found their way to the doghouse because they couldn't block/pick up the blitz. He throws the ball a lot, so that is important. |

@TJCarpenterWHB: We all feel like Stanzi is a dead man walking.... Well, he sounded like one today. He won't say it, which says everything. More on 810 in 5.

Carpenter did say he felt the Chiefs could sneak Bray onto the practice squad if they wanted to. No joke.

You have a better chance of getting Stanzi to last on the PS. If they put Bray on the PS...he will be picked up by one of the other teams that wanted him.

He just doesn't think about the actual situation. He's very myopic. (There's your Cowherd word, you SEC turd.) |
I think his point was that it's easier to sneak an UDFA who can't see the field during preseason (if that's the Chiefs strategy) onto the PS than a 5th round pick with game tape. Either way, it was a reeruned conversation to even be having.

Saying expectations out of KC are .500+ and competing with Denver for the division title
|
A lot of talent on defense but underachieved as a unit last season.
Need help at corner and need to force more turnovers. |
This is gay. Nothing we didnt already know..
High expectations from all these analysts. Just like last season... And the season before that. |

I can totally see Bray being moved to the practice squad.
In order to get him on the squad you have to cut him. Obviously a team can pick him up and place him on their practice squad (if Bray wants to sign with them) or sign him onto their roster. What is the likelyhood that a team will pick up a rookie QB that they haven't worked with a spend a practice squad spot on them? Why would Bray go to another team's practice squad when he has Alex Smith and Chase Daniel as the 2 QBs ahead of him here? And there is zero chance someone would sign him to the active roster without going through camp. Remember, he is a undrafted rookie QB. Not a 1st or 2nd rounder. If teams didn't want him in the draft, why would they automatically put him on the roster without having gone through camp with him. He'd make it on the practice squad easily if KC decided to go in that direction. |

I wouldn't make too much of this, "camp" hasn't officially started without the rest. |
Mitch pouring the Kool Aid tremendously hard on 810 right now.

when will the Jon Baldwin training camp hype machine cog start again this year
has he jumped over some crappy Arizona Cardinals DB in a scrimmage yet? |

#Chiefs HC Andy Reid told NFL Network that he'll run an offense that requires Alex Smith to "pull the trigger." |

An aggressive HC with a conservative QB is a recipe for disaster, unless the playbook consists of only 10 yard and under routes. |
