Bills cut T Zebrie Sanders and G Antione Caldwell, I thought those guys were studs coming out of college no? Anyone know the story on these 2 guys? Oline depth could be useful unless people think we should just keep 8 guys (Albert, Fisher, Schwartz, Stephenson, Allen, Asamoah, Hudson, Kush).

And I never 100% welched on any bet, I honored PGM's and GoChiefs bet for a good 3 months before I had enough. |

I hope we're not talking about my Florida Gator Bubba Caldwell. I love the guy but he's not young anymore. I don't think he could beat out Avery.
|
Seahawks released Michael Robinson? Hmmm...he'd be useful. Our fullbacks are turds.
It was dumber than shit to draft one, and it was even dumber to trade CB depth for one, when depth at CB is much more needed on this team, and just more important in general. |

I still fulfilled my end of that bet....just as I am right now, even though I was told I didnt have to. You know why? I bet you dont. |

I don't care who initiated the bet. What I care about is that you make bets, don't honor them (and no, I don't care that you tell people not to worry about bets - that's on you) and then come up with a million excuses about it. Ha, before you had enough. That's the funny thing about bets, if you're a honorable person, you don't get to say when you've had enough. You honor the terms - like Hamas did when he banned himself for a year. You're a no-honor puke who deserves all the ridicule you get on this board. |
2 guys to keep an eye on that were just cut - FB Michael Robinson and CB Antonie Winfield.
|
Yes to Winfield.
Actually if Abdullah is playing the slot "cb" I'm much less worried about it, but we need some depth there. If they move dunta to more a FS role, I'd jimp |

Winfield is old and even slower than he used to be. No thank you.

Tebow has now been denied 3 times before the cock has been circumcised.
|
The bigger Patriot surprise was Jermaine Cunningham.
They might be the only team that struggles as much as the Chiefs with R2 picks. |
College game day just informed me that Tebow had been released. I see you already know that. What would Tebow do?

I lost a $100 bet to my buddy the other day. When it came time to pay up, I only gave him $25 and said, "That's enough."
|
The patriots used Tebow to help their image during the Hernandez murder thing. Now that it has calmed down its time to say goodbye. The lord knows what you have done mr belichick but Timothy forgives you ROFL

I think KC needs a good backup CB, but I don’t know if Antoine Winfield would be the answer. After having a pretty good year with Minnesota Vikings, 16 games, 101 tackles, 12 PDs, and 3 INTs, he signed a $3 million deal to join the already strong secondary of the Seattle Seahawks. In the preseason, he has no tackles, http://www.nfl.com/teams/seattleseah...stics?team=SEA.
So is the 37 year old, 5’9”, 180 lb CB injured? Doesn’t seem like he got a chance to really show what he can do. I’d like someone that has watched Seattle’s preseason games to say if he even played. Quote:

Tim Tebow cut by New England Patriots
The Tim Tebow Experience is over in New England. Tebow was released by the team on Saturday, ending another chapter in the former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback's wandering pro career, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport was told by a source informed of the move. Despite the requisite fervor draped upon Tebow's every move, it's far from a surprising transaction if the Patriots intended to fill their 53-man roster with the best players available. With Ryan Mallett firmly in place as Tom Brady's backup, Tebow played himself out of the role during an underwhelming preseason. Tebow was signed in June, a move that made some sense considering the presence of offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels -- Tebow's former coach with Denver Broncos -- and Bill Belichick, whose affinity for University of Florida players is well-documented. Still, the Patriots needed to see Tebow develop as a quarterback in time for the regular season, and he didn't come close: His 11-of-30 passing performance over three appearances netted just 145 yards, with a pair of touchdowns and two picks. Coming off an unproductive, chaotic 2012 campaign with the New York Jets, it's fair to wonder if Tebow's days in the NFL have drawn to a close. Asked after Thursday's preseason finale against the New York Giants if he was worried about floating on the roster bubble, Tebow was typically stoic: "I'm blessed, because of my faith, that I don't have to worry about the future because I know who holds my future," Tebow told reporters. "It's something I try to live by. It really gives you a lot of peace in whatever circumstance I'm in." Those circumstances, today, will pull Tebow away from New England. Where he lands next is anyone's guess. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...gland-patriots |

Clay W @bfett81 42s
How awesome would it be if Tebow signed with the Raiders. Truly awesome. |
Tim Tebow cut was expected.
How about the Packers cutting Vince Young? I realize he hasn't played well, but are they really going into the season with only B.J. Coleman behind Rodgers? Think they'll be picking up someone elses scraps? |

It's dumb to go into a year with only 2 QBs.

Interesting.
Andrew Siciliano @AndrewSiciliano 15s RT @BFeldmanCBS: With Tebow getting cut, 4 of the past 7 Heisman winning QBs (not including Manziel) are out of the NFL. |

No one mentioned this in another thread i posted in so I'll re ask it here.
Zebrie Sanders, former FSU OT was just cut by the Bills and so was former Alabama G Antione Caldwell. I thought these guys were supposed to be studs? They were pretty big names coming out of college and I remember a lot of people on this board wanting us to draft Sanders. What's the story on these guys? Anyone know? We could use some Oline depth, surely we're not going into the season w/ just 8 offensive linemen. |
Fua would be a good pick up for the Bucs.
