Here in texas we can protect our personal property with our guns. If you're dumb enough to risk it, you should be aware of the consequences.

I mean we dont know the facts, it could be self defense, but lets be honest its way way way way different than someone breaking into your house while you are home.

No, its really not. And I am 100% opposed to shooting someone who steals from you, but it's dark out and you have no idea what he's up to.

Did I say that? Obviously it depends on the situation. But what bothers me is the blanket statements on this board that you should be able to just kill anybody in cold blood, in ANY situation, if they are breaking into a car.

Rain Man 12-01-2013 08:43 PM

I've probably mentioned this before, but in college I had a roommate who was a very brawny survivalist type of fellow. He actively hoped someone would break into our house, because he really wanted to have a legal justification for beating the daylights out of someone. He was a good guy to be friends with.

What bothers me are the blanket statements about the blanket statements. All I have read is that if that is the final out come it was deserved. Not that you should try for that out come.

Struggle at Arrowhead Stadium during game leaves 1 man dead

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A man is dead following a struggle in an Arrowhead Stadium parking as the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos played each other.

Kansas City police Chief Darryl Forte called it a homicide in a tweet. Other police officials called it a death investigation.

Police officials said the struggle occurred in Lot A during the game. The man was rushed to an area hospital where he died.

Forte said two suspects are in custody.

Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a fight broke out. The man who apparently did not belong in the vehicle died.

Police officials did not say whether the two in custody were the father and his son or not.

This occurred exactly one year after Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher killed Kasandra Perkins, the mother of his infant daughter, and then drove to Arrowhead where he killed himself in front of horrified team leaders.

KCTV5 is gathering more information. Refresh this page for updates.

There couldn't have been many people around, and if the thief was "rushed to the hospital", and the two are in custody, I'm guessing they may have reported the incident themselves. Maybe they were even the ones who called for help?

Maybe it was the father and son who jumped the rail and attacked the Royals 1st base coach that one time.

Walked by the spot on the way back to the vehicle after the game. Some dumb parking attendant was yelling at people to walk around the spot near the RVs, but most people were completely ignoring it. Lady was saying "You can't walk through here, there's a homicide." but we didn't pay it much attention, and walked on by.

With the price people pay to park that damn lot should be 100% secure with a 0.00% chance someone breaks into your car. The season ticket holders should file a class action lawsuit against the Kansas City Chiefs.

You must be blind... He throws an INT on the first drive, in the endzone, when he might very-well have been able to walk in. But no, he didn't the the big guy wearing the orange shirt... Yeah, the first game-changing dagger was an INT from HIM!

THEN, unless you're re-blind, you may have missed that he rarely hits our WRs in stride. The WRs are always making a circus catch or wondering if that ball was meant for them. Hell, they're usually so ****ing surprised it's near them that their untalented asses miss the ball. But hey, the point is he's a VERY inaccurate thrower...

So keep sucking his dick, that'll help fix things!

Agree. Most of the offensive ineptitude that embodied the better part of three quarters was on Reid IMO. His playcalling became awful and predictable. All of the short drives gave Peyton and co. more time and more chances to score. Not to mention our defense had to be pooped. Wonder if it's any coincidence that they came up with a stop after the offense led a long sustained drive.

I guess my standard for "spot on" is what Manning, Brees, and Brady can do. All these circus catches our WRs have to make to get to the ball, or back to it, seems less than spot-on.

I guess I have to just accept the Chiefs will never have a Manning or a Brady (and their version of spot on). We'll draft another RT in the first round, and I'm sure next time we pick #1, we'll even pick a RT at that point.

As for an elite QB coming here in FA, well, we saw what happened with Manning...

While it's a great aspiration to have a Manning or a Brady, those are probably two of the top five or six quarterbacks in the history of the NFL, even with the watered-down rules. The odds are that we'll never have a Manning or a Brady on our team.

Yep... I did... And it should have, but it didn't.

I also saw Manning beat us deep with PERFECTLY thrown passes. I seem to recall fixing my post that said he'd burn us for 50, but he burned us for 77.

Now, where are those throws for Alex? He's had a few, prolly throws them all the time in practice, but he rarely makes them on gameday.

He sucks compared to Manning and Brady; he just can't throw the ball as well as they can (not even close to as well).

But he's what we have, and we'll simply have to live with his arm (like it or not).
