One thing I like about Vargas is that he's such a change up to what the Giants had seen from Ventura and the bullpen. They seem to be a good fastball hitting team, so hopefully Vargas can hit his spots and keep the Giants' bats out of rhythm.

And yeah, if he struggles or is even just doing ok, Duffy would be a nice counter to Vargas. More velocity.

This is a national broadcast, this is not FSKC or 610am. The broadcasts have been fine, as least as far as neutrality is concerned.
