Man, I've seen Verlander start against the Royals at least 8 times. I watched one of his last starts and thought "Hmmm...not bad".

But watching him live? This is almost sad to watch. Not that I'm complaining. But holy shit, he's lost it.

He has what 60 pitches. He's cruising along. On pace for a complete game

Rasputin 08-04-2015 06:43 PM

Nice job Perez should give yourself a Gatorade bath after we win.

KCUnited 08-04-2015 06:43 PM

Guess we can hang onto Sal...for another week.

He had bases loaded. That was scary but we got a good lead so I'd expect him out there and no pressure.

kysirsoze 08-04-2015 06:45 PM

Wow. Way to stretch that to a double.

baitism 08-04-2015 06:53 PM

It's hard for me to comprehend how a major league pitcher can miss the strike zone that many times.

suzzer99 08-04-2015 06:56 PM

Nice start Duffy.

petegz28 08-04-2015 06:56 PM

New World Order 08-04-2015 06:58 PM

He over ran it though

Saul Good 08-04-2015 07:10 PM

It would be nice if the umpire brought his strike zone with him.

petegz28 08-04-2015 07:10 PM

get kelvin throwing if they score with 0 outs

WhawhaWhat 08-04-2015 07:11 PM

That's what you get for half-assing that fly ball.

Yeah, but you always find the wall first (or at least gauge where it is) so you aren't worried about it when you make the catch.

Saul Good 08-04-2015 07:11 PM

3-1 Jays

petegz28 08-04-2015 07:11 PM

If Verlander would put a high leg kick in there he would look like Paul Splittorff in those tight pants. Thats old school 70s right there.

I think he misjudged the distance. He definitely wasn't running 100% to the wall.

Saul Good 08-04-2015 07:17 PM

Why are we so worried about Gose?

Great play by Moose. Duffy really got lucky to get out of the last three innings with only 1 run allowed.
