It shouldn't, but it irks me that FOX calls their top broadcasted game as "America's Game of the Week". Much like how the Cowboys call themselves "America's Team".

Mr. Laz 12-24-2016 02:53 PM

Doesn't a Tennessee help Denver?

People cheering for that?

Houston's and Hali's seeming inability to spin or duck around the corner anymore is a grave concern. It's nice to have Ford these days, but he didn't get to him either.

While I think the defense is the better half of our team BY FAR, it's not like we've not made-up saying like, "3rd and it doesn't matter" and/or, "3rd and Sutton." And those are mainly because, unlike ours, almost any NFL O-line allows their QB and WRs long enough to make a play. And our D-line is a large part of why that's the case, they're simply not getting close enough, fast enough, to their QB. And by the 3rd quarter our offense has done everything they can to make the D play gassed.

Let's pray Andy has looked in the mirror and realized that his game-day coaching skills and Alex's skills, and perhaps their ban on Alex changing the play, are the biggest problem and he turns over a new leaf.

I don't care if Denver is still in it tomorrow. Good. Let's be the team that crushes their hopes.

If Denver's more motivated than we are, well then I don't know what to say.

CaliforniaChief 12-24-2016 03:02 PM

If you are all into meaning, the Colts got a big boost today. They're definitely playing for the playoffs, still.

And BTW, how lame is Oakland? Just to avoid blackouts they have to cover the entire top level of their seats.

Miami thanks Einstein Taylor for running out of bounds on 3rd down giving them all that bonus time on the clock, allowing them do drive down and tie it up.

He certainly is first in line for blame for the offense sucking (and gassing the defense) because of his position in the organization, but there's no doubt Alex isn't very good. To what degree Alex is hamstrung by Andy, we don't know, we won't ever know, but Alex's moments of awesomeness are far too few and in between once the huddle is broken.

Again, JMO after watching these guys for far too many years.

Chiefs goes into the 3rd quarter with a lead, 35-3 ... only to lose it on a touchdown pass by Rivers with 2 seconds left. 38-35 Chargers.

Pretty sure it happened in a game in the past 2-3 years. Can't recall which game though.

EDIT: Ironically, it was the Dolphins.

The Jags just need to put 8 in the box and stop the run and they have that one in the bank.
