Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse than comparing active duty service members to millionaire celebrities.

It's really pathetic he killed him self. I think of him as a loser, not a victim.

Same with Kate Spade. Go volunteer serving others if you're miserable, be productive. Hanging yoeself is pathetic beyond words.

I do think soldiers with insane ptsd having seen death and even participated in it, are diff.

Just curious, last fall/winter there were several high profile rock stars kill themselves. They all had kids too. We’re these same issues brought up? We’re they considered weak assholes too? Or is there a different standard for rock stars compared to Chefs or fashion designers.

It wasn't some canned travel show where he ate food and acted like a tourist. Drinking & eating were wrapped into an experience. Bourdain studied up on the history and the culture, and really learned about the people and the experience. Hell, he did one segment at a Denny's. I've traveled several places because of Bourdain. The places I haven't traveled to, watch one episode and you feel like you've been there. That's a pretty good reason to watch the guy's show.

If you like Anthony, but want a less emotional, more comfortable and friendly, format. I recommend 'Somebody Feed Phil.''

Phil Rosenthal is the creator/head writer of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' and just about the most friendly person on earth at the moment. The other day it hit me, he's the closest thing we have to an Adult Living Mister Rogers at the moment.

And the cinematographer for the show is absolutely top notch. In an already flooded field, he makes food preparation and consumption a near art form.

With this heat, and now the rain, you hit right on that 'sweet' spot that is most irritating.
