I’m guessing Belichick was behind this move as well

Well, **** Kentucky then. Lol at anyone thinking they'll win more than a pat on the back and a "there's always next year."
He should submit a formal resignation, stating the need to spend more time with the family, and immediately cone out of retirement to join our favorite American football club... Those Chiefs from Kansas City, Missouri. Oh, and **** the Rams |
****!!!!!
|
This is messed up when is his contract up? If hope he would come aboard then ...JFC I don't get why he can't resign
|
That’s ****ed up
|
@RealMNchiefsfan: Another aspect of Kentucky reneging on House like this is that it seems at least possible we haven't heard the end of it. The info leaked for a reason. School may not stand up under intense fire over the whole thing.

I’m sure Veach and Reid are in contact with Kentucky and House. They’ll get the guy. |

FREE HOUSE!

I guarantee you House will be a Chief. Kentucky’s heads will roll. I would resign if I was House. Spags wanted this guy for a reason. Rap even said House wanted to be here!! This ain’t over by a long shot

@ChiefinCarolina: I’m no expert on contracts, especially in college, but this seems rather... doable to buyout House? https://twitter.com/ChiefinCarolina/...946240/photo/1
Looks like House's contract is out after 2019. This seems petty AF if he doesn't get an extension to stay there which why would he take if he wants to be a Chiefs coach. |

Now the situation at KU is ****ed up if you ask me. |

Go for it.. |
Clark should personally buyout his contract
|
@KySportsRadio: Interesting....this is obviously Chiefs’ spin but I do think the Buyout played a part in this decision
UK seemed to play some hardball in this https://twitter.com/terezpaylor/stat...14898203811841 |

Not sure who this guy is, but he has 16k followers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Bump up the offered contract for that amount the next 2 seasons and let’s develop these linebackers into killers that know how to help shut down the spread.

This guy is going to leave Kentucky and go somewhere. You can’t hold this guy hostage like a prisoner.
He’s gonna find a way out now that they treated him this way. |

Woof, Kentucky.

Clark better not be cheap about this. If he wants a super bowl he will pay the 150,000

Where does this Marty guy get his info from?
Is he a legit source like Clay says? |

Personally I wouldn’t want to work for somebody I don’t trust especially if they took away an opportunity from me to better myself. I could only imagine how the guy feels. |
Ha! So this podunk basketball school thinks they're going to block the Chiefs from getting what they AND the coach in question wants?
This is where being the big, dirty, shady NFL comes in real handy. We're going to titty-twist that little college program until they scream like Justin Beiber being raped by a dolphin. And besides, anyone named "Stoops" needs to be ball-gagged and stuffed in to a refrigerator. |
So where does the latest status on House sit? He used us for a raise and wants to stay fat happy paid in Kentucky? Or they really are holding him hostage? Tough to distill from the thread since there are still mostly positive emotions about him. Hard to imagine his salary in KC would be any less so what gives?

Chiefs came in and offered a job. He was interested. Kentucky came back and said ‘what if we give you a nice fat raise?’ Talked it over with his family. Maybe they like it there and decided they wanna stay there for now? It’s not like he’s not gonna get another NFL opportunity again. Maybe he waits for a DC position to be offered with an NFL team. He seems to want to go back to the NFL. |

Tell him to resign and that the Chiefs will give him 75k extra towards his contract provided he can get these linebackers and this defense in the top 20... Win -win for everyone involved, except Kentucky of course.

And that's why we're going to butt**** Kentucky dry and teach their little football program what time it is. EDIT: He's been in the NFL with Spags at STL, but not as a Chief. And that's really all that matters. |
Matt House not going to Chiefs after all
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...efs-after-all/
Posted by Charean Williams on February 9, 2019, 10:46 PM EST Getty Images Matt House was supposed to be the next linebackers coach for the Chiefs. He won’t be. The University of Kentucky confirmed Saturday that House will remain defensive coordinator at the school. The Wildcats had the nation’s sixth best scoring defense last season, and Josh Allen is projected as a high first-round choice in the 2019 draft. Terez Paylor of Yahoo Sports reports that Kentucky had a change of heart after agreeing to a negotiated buyout and decided not to let House of his contract. Paylor added that House wanted to join the Chiefs. House was on the Rams’ staff all three seasons that new Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo was the head coach in St. Louis. The Chiefs will renew the search for a replacement for outside linebackers coach Mike Smith, who left to join the Packers in January. Inside linebackers coach Mark Deleone also departed, joining the Bears in the same capacity. |
**** Kentucky, that is some bullshit if true.

If this is true, House played us to get a better deal.:shake:
"Let your yes be yes and your no be no." |
So House was the DC of the 6th scoring defense in the nation. That means there were 5 others with better defenses. Go get them Clark. Get them all.

Worst case scenario we let his contract with the University of Kuntkunty run out and take him in at that time.
