I’m not gonna doubt people’s accounts of seeing something that they can’t identify. But for me, personally, I don’t believe in anything I’ve never either seen myself or that there isn’t unarguable proof for the existence of, at least at one time.

Did you watch the video? Not about things they can't identify, it was about actually confronting these things.

Way too many people have seen these things.

If you do, where's the proof they exist.

Statistics and the expanse of space make it more likely other lifeforms exist. The lack of expanse in North America make it more likely bigfoot doesn't.

I'm not claiming to know on either, but I don't think comparing the two strengthens your argument.

Ubeja Vontell 03-04-2020 09:38 PM

I live in Porterville Cali which is an hour from being way back in those Sierra Nevada mountains. You could hide a town in those woods that nobody would know existed, there are places up there so desolate only a helicopter could get in. Some tribe of gorillas could live there and never be detected.

No I didn’t but my comment wasn’t in response to the video. If I ever see a Bigfoot or a major research or scientific group produces factual proof, I’ll be here eating crow. Until then, I don’t believe in Bigfoot. Or Bigfeet? However you would say that

Why not take a few minutes and watch the video?

There is talk of coming face to face with big foot, not....I think I saw.

See, I don’t believe in these either. Certainly not in the movie or highly intellectual being sense. Are there some small or single cell like living things possibly in space? Sure. Do I think there’s creatures with space ships 🚀 or the ability to travel to or communicate in any way with earth? No.

I understand the argument against me, which is simply “there’s a lot of space out there and to proclaim we’re the only planet or solar system capable of sustaining intelligent life is at best arrogant and and worst idiotic”. Fair point.

Of course, on my side is:

There has never been any legitimate proof by acceptable scientific evidence that factually proves anything living exists anywhere outside of our planet.

Okay, I won’t do it tonight as I’m in bed and to lazy to get my headphones and if I wake the Mrs up by watching a Bigfoot video, I’m in more trouble than if I actually ran into a Bigfoot, but I’m in a hotel on business tomorrow night so I’ll watch it. I will be beyond shocked if it changes my mind but I’ll watch it.

There are structures built long ago that were impossible to build at the time, you know this?

What concerns me at this point is that (based on the posts in this thread alone) more people have seen Bigfeets than have seen Vicki.

Frankly, I have no problem with Bigfeets belief. I'm more skeptical about the existence of Vicki.

Subjective. I would argue they were not impossible to build at the time, since they were in fact, built. The absence of being able to prove how they were built is not evidence that they were built by Aliens or the like.

So.....? Is absolutely the best way to describe it. If this proves to you that aliens are real, you’re entitled to that belief. Everyone has their own definition of “burden of proof”. I tend to see most things the way a juror should. I need absolute beyond a burden of a doubt proof before I accept something as fact. That’s all.

If you are in East Texas it is Juniperus virginiana. aka eastern red cedar, aromatic cedar.

It is very soft and absorbs sound really well. Try knocking with a Louisville slugger. If Yeti is close he will hear it.

Dole lives right next to a river in Texas that has had all kinds of sightings reported and a attack in a camp.

Gorilla

Marcelmooij | Dreamstime.com
GORILLA

Today it's hard to imagine a world in which people didn't believe gorillas existed. But it's not so hard to imagine your own skepticism if you were regaled with tales about giant, hairy, savage man-beasts with bad tempers living in the wilds of some far-away place. (And you didn't have access to the Internet to confirm or bust the story.)

Right?

And so it went for Westerners for a long, long time. Some attribute the first sighting of a gorilla by a non-native to Greek explorer Hanno in the 5th century B.C., although today scientists believe he was probably witnessing chimpanzees or baboons --- called "gorillae," as it happened, by his interpreters. Another explorer, Andrew Battel, told tales of human-like "monsters" visiting his camp's fire every morning after the humans had left for the day (although he pointed out that the apes didn't know enough to put MORE wood on the fire, tsk).

But gorillas themselves remained obscure and poorly understood until 1847, when physician and naturalist Thomas Savage obtained several gorilla bones, including skulls, in Liberia, and coauthored with Harvard anatomist Jeffries Wyman the first formal description of the newly discovered species Gorilla gorilla. And it wasn't until a decade after THAT that explorer Paul du Chaillu would see (and, unfortunately, hunt) live gorillas, sending back specimens to the societies funding his expeditions.

But even more unbelievably? The mountain gorilla subspecies Gorilla gorilla beringei remained a myth until 1902, when it was first identified by German captain Robert von Beringe!

`~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Story goes back in the days some loggers way back in the woods of Northern Cali caught a small one. They built a cage and put Jocko in it, they would bring him in when the job was done, well, he escaped.

Pretty sure it can be Googled.

Anyone interested in the topic should look into Will Jevning's work...he goes into a lot of stuff and has a lot of theories not normally covered like feeding/hunting, their presumed biology, migration routes, group structure / hierarchy and how they move, co exist, etc.

Of course it's all hypothetical and theoretical but interesting nonetheless.

Did you ever see that documentary that starts with the guy banging on the tree to call them, then there's a guy playing the drums in the forest? Then they make a bigfoot costume and recreate the Patterson-Gemlin film and break it down for about an hour like the Zapruder film. Do you remember that? That was awesome.

I had to order it on VHS from Sweden and get it translated. The guy I bought it from had an amazing archive of Bigfoot and alien videos. He was hiding from the government but I bet you know how I got connected to him.

As we made our way across the dried bed of Lake Eucha on a warm summer night, a young buck blew at us from a tuft of trees, on what would be an island if the lake had water. TJ, our Cherokee guide from the local community of Kenwood, raised his fist signaling us to stop. Josh and I both stopped and watched as TJ realeased a wild sound mimicking the squatches he had hears before. The young buck tore across the river rock, coyotes howled all through the hills, and then from behind us on top of the small mountain we had climed to get to the lake we heard it. The sound was like nothing ive ever heard a human make, it was deep and powerful, every other sound stopped, even the mosquitoes seemed to be gone. TJ pointed down at my prized Ruger Mark II m77, with the hard to find stainless barrel and skeleton stock, and he said "Still think thats gonna do you some good?" as he smirked. I pulled the bolt back confirming there was a round in the chamber, and he started our march back up the mountain.

this is just an excerpt sent to the editor, likely it will be the preview on the back cover. Forgive me for it being imperfect im a product of too much time in the woods and too little time in the class room. This is our trip to Kenwood a small Cherokee community outside of Tulsa, theyre not very receptive to non natives coming in but we befriended a nice man who claimed to have had rocks thrown at him many times by adolescent squatches from the bank.

You'll love this story. Told by a Game Warden just days after being attacked by a BF that killed his dog and almost him.
