Allegiant Air is paying between $20-$25 million per year for the naming rights to the new stadium.

I know absolutely nothing about them but it sounds as if that money should have been used for maintenance workers and not naming rights.

That was my first thought but I was assuming some kind of solar built in or some trick to keep the place from melting. :hmmm:

The stadium would look much more authentic with some graffiti.

A smart engineer could funnel that retained energy into useful work.

And it's easy enough to integrate an insulating layer between the black surface and the useful interior space.

My brother was a season ticket holder of there's, he lives west of Sacramento, so every year we would do a brothers weekend and hit the Chiefs/Raiders game then either fly to Vegas or hit Reno. This just makes it easier as I'll meet him in Vegas. Perfect town for football IMO.

That is what I am waiting to see....not only for the Chiefs but for all visiting teams. Vegas is an easy destination city for opposing teams fans to come for an annual weekend visit to the strip and catch a game when their team plays. I am guessing the casinos were heavy buyers of the season tickets as well as individual entrepreneurs that will make money off their tickets by selling to visiting teams fans. I think the Raider games will have more of a super bowl neutral type of crowd each week and never have quite the home field advantage like most teams.....except the chargers lol.

I can foresee me getting rooms at the Mandalay Bay & using what I’m sure will be a walk overpass to the stadium. Sweet.

Raiders will never be required to win because everyone loves to go Vegas and see a cool stadium as their team will always kick the crap out of the Raiders. The Raiders stadium will always be full and the visitors have a blast in Vegas. It is a win-win for both the Raiders and the visitors. What's not to like ??;)

Opposing fans have to pay for that LV experience. The Raiders have gone from one of the least expensive venues to the most expensive. If the Raiders put up a bad product for a year or two then ticket prices will fall and opposing fans will come. They better change their ways or else.

You can't deny hanging onto Arrowhead and it's mystic and experience. I'd like it to remain forever but if a decision was made on a new stadium I would look forward to that as well.

Is it just because it's the Raiders that's drawing all these negative comments. That's fine if it is, but the stadium is pretty bad-ass IMO. And knowing there's a Chiefs Kingdom flag buried under it makes it all the more awesome.

Drove through Vegas last week and I can confirm that the stadium is crazy impressive. I hate to say it but it makes Arrowhead look like a college stadium.

Arrowhead just went through a huge renovation a few years back. Plus, they upgraded all their seats for the last two years.

It is the best stadium in the NFL. That black Fader toilet bowel will never be the loudest stadium in the NFL.

Game ticket prices are crazy expensive. I have doubts they will manage to have many sellouts.

The Casinos will buy tons of tickets as freebies for their high rollers.

It’s a pretty cool stadium except Raiders.

Marilyn and the King in uniform is nice. I didn’t know they were doing the roll-out grass like they do in Phoenix.

They’ll sell out every game forever. They didn’t set those prices without the necessary market research. Vegas is the most natural spot in the world for this.
