Snow game against Donk was my favorite regular season game last year. Remember Mahomes spinning it pregame. He can pick on Ojemudia on the outside, and Kelce will feast in the middle on the wet field. Expect Locke to commit a couple careless turnovers. Straight outta Vegas, two score win for Chiefs!

CEH looked great in the rain. I predict he will have a big game this week in the snow.

It's a real bad Bronco team, but so are the Raiders
|
Hey guys, I’m worried this is a tarp game and we will be looking ahead to the gameplan for Patrick to throw 8+ TD’s vs the Jets. Anyone else got that worry??

The CHIEFS are by far the better team. IMO they should win by at least a couple of TD's. However, this season they have shown that they tend to play to the level of competition - in this case that would be down - so I think it will be closer than what I think should happen.

Only concern is the ridiculous weather conditions forecast for Sunday... snow and temps in the low 20’s in freaking October? Glad I don’t live in that Denver shithole.

And if you read my post, you'll see that I said it would likely be closer than expected. |
Seems like the hopeful teams are always "just a fix away from being champs".
The bronco /chiefs trajectories over the last couple of decades shows exactly what is wrong with the NFL. You either have the league MVP at QB winning you championships, or you have excuses and fixes for next year. |

Their offense is one of the worst in the NFL but their defense, despite the injuries, is still solid. I expect a score of something like 28-14 honestly. |

It's a division game. |
We always have weird bets at the office for the upcoming Chiefs game. I would like to use Bell this week. Will he play? What is a good over/under for Bell carries? 4.5? Or touches in general?
|
Barely beat LAC, lost to LVR, let's hope we don't have the same struggle vs Denver. I think Denver is the worst team in the division, but any given Sunday. Cut out the dumb mistakes and we should be fine.
|
Need to start a campaign and gofundme to keep Elway in Denver until his 'legend' label is relegated to myth and truth prevails.

Schwartz, Watkins, Okafor, and Charlton all expected to be out according to Andy.
That’s a rough list. |
Jones will play some DE according to Reid

Must be strange...Lock growing up a Chiefs fan then playing for the Donks.
I wonder if his childhood indoctrination was strong enough that he still roots for them... Speaking of which...what ever happened to Shane Ray? Must have been weird to walk around the Denver LR with a Chiefs arrowhead tattooed on your back. *edit* After the Donks refused to pick up his 5th year option...Ray signed with the Ravens...only to be cut before the season. He hasn't played since. Strange career to be a 1st round pick...then never play again after 4 years. I dont remember him being great...but he seemed serviceable enough to have a role with a team. Another Horseface 1st round pick that didn't get an extension...he just declined Bolles this year. How many is that?...that's the recipe for a last place roster. Game will probably be closer than last year's tilt....they've been hyping up the 10 straight narrative for motivation. Let's hope the streak of having a TD removed for ticky-tack holding doesn't extend to 3 straight games. Refs haven't been kind in both division games so far... I want to see Bell and CEH in the same backfield...in the snow. |
Do the Chiefs only have 3 DE available for Sunday?
Taco and Okafor out, Danna IR. That leaves Clark, Kpass and Harris. Am I forgetting anyone? |

I look for Harris to have a solid showing, he’s probably highly motivated given that he hasn’t gotten a chance to dress out this year. I expect good things there.

Wow, the weather went from sorta sketchy to absolutely nasty.
Think we're going to run a lot again in this game. Not 65% carries, but not going to be shocked if we run more than pass again. |
Quote:
Recent history shows that Mahomes throws insanely well in the snow, and his weapons are even harder to cover due to the footing issues that come with it. It’s also harder to rush the passer. I wouldn’t be shocked by anything. It’ll ultimately come down to the looks the Denver defense gives. |
I can spin it in anything- Patrick Mahomes

Okay, the most recent forecast I came up with says 20 degrees at game time, 1-5 inches snow possible at game time. Winds 9 knts, gust up to 21 possible. Scroll down for the detailed forecast.https://www.stadiumforecast.com/foot.../forecast.html |
The football media seems to believe that DEN has a pretty good rush defense, so it'll be interesting to see how our newly remodeled OL does on Sunday against them. Find out if Kilgore and Allegretti are really 1st team worthy, or how badly we need to get Rankin back into the line up.
|
Denver basically getting all their players back from injury and read somewhere some NFL dude was saying Purcell was going to dominate the A gaps with our makeshift O-Line.
There seems to be some peeps out there that think Denver can not only make this a competitive game but win. I suppose they think anything’s possible after the loss to the Faid at Arrowhead. Kind of took the aura of invincibility off the Chiefs. Still think the Chiefs win this by double digits. I suppose Dungver could keep it close for a half. |
Quote:
If it’s close, it’s because the Chiefs beat themselves. |
Last season DEN managed to score just 9 points between our two meetings. Our defense basically beat the brakes off their offense.
And their offense didn't manage to score a single TD against the Patsies last week. Our D is better than the Patsies D. This isn't going to be very close. |
Fant could definitely help their red zone offense (assuming they can get there), but Buoye being back isn’t going to make much of a difference. People still seem to be under the mistaken impression that he is the same guy he was 3 years ago in Jacksonville.
He’s not. |
The Chiefs are favored to win by 9.5 pts against a team that can't score touchdowns.
Just let Lock think he's got a window down the field. Easy pick. |
The GOAT

So Taco and Okafor are out while Danna is on IR. It’s Clark, Kpass and who else?
Wharton will probably play some DE but I wonder if Direckshun’s poster child Demone Harris will be activated this Sunday? |
Jones at DE is going to be devastating. Jones and Clark should have big games!
|
Elway is surely well underway on a 3 day bender as we speak, that way he's so deliriously drunk by sunday afternoon that he doesn't even care what happens

^ what a ****ing moron. Mahomes has already beaten the Cheating Donks 5 times in a row and going to be 6 after Sunday.
11 losses in a row for the Donks coming up! Bitter bitches. |

He has matured before our eyes, from throwing penalty flags and getting 15 yard penalties, to just doing his job and staying drama free on the field and off. But, just because the media needed something to talk about during the lead up to the Super Bowl, doesn't mean Kelce was at any point a terrible blocker. Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk |
