Is it me or is this moving like way faster than prior years?

The 49ers are not thrilled about the run on Edge rushers, but this is a CP mock draft....
The 49ers select, Carlos Basham, DE, Wake Forest |
Rushing to submit their card immediately after the 49ers...
The Dallas Cowboys select Alim McNeill, DT, NC State Last season, the Cowboys struggled to stop the run. New defensive Coordinator Mike Nolan’s 4-3 scheme should simplify things for the defense, but the Cowboys still have a big need for talent along the line. McNeill will come in and immediately bolster the unit as a talented 1-Tech who fits the scheme like a glove. McNeill is an above average run defender and very capable pass rusher from the inside. Some other teams may be surprised by this pick. McNeill is a bit controversial in the fact that some teams and scouts have him ranked as high as an early 2nd round pick (including the Cowboys) while others have him rated as low as a mid-4th. The Cowboys don’t care, they got their guy. |
The Jacksonville Jaguars select Levi Onwuzurike, DE/DT, Washington
|

The New England Patriots select Davis Mills, QB, Stanford.
Patriots get a guy that fits their template to play QB for the future at an affordable value. |

Appreciate the affirmation that I'm not crazy and confirmation that he probably wouldn't have made it to the Cowboys next pick! |
Also 4 second round picks in 17 minutes! Great job crew!

Someone want to PM duncan-idaho?
Was on mobile and couldn't do so.. |

Sorry guys. Got stuck in a session and on it now. That was a flurry of picks!
|
The Los Angeles Chargers select Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida
Young QB got a great protector in round 1. Now let's get him a dynamic playmaker in space. |

Always need to break in a rookie each year :)

I'm not completely organized yet... have not be able to find my typical list of 400 or some draft prospects to work off of. Been crazy at work...

Well ****. That’s embarrassing.
The Los Angeles Chargers select Terrance Marshall, WR, LSU Same concept. Different guy. |
Pretty sure the majority of us have done it.

The Las Vegas Raiders select Daviyon Nixon, DT, Iowa
Can someone PM the next guy. Sorry. |

The Arizona Cardinals select Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
|
Quote:
Just listened to a local radio segment gushing over the idea of the Cards getting Campbell in the 2nd. As their representative, think you just hit a home run. |
With the 50th pick, the Miami Dolphins select Creed Humphrey, OC, Oklahoma.
The Dolphins get a long-term solution at the pivot after only signing Skura to a 1-year deal. There's no rush to get Humphrey on the field but if they do, Skura has experience at guard. |

The Washington Football Team selects Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue |
The Bears are quite pissed. They wanted either Moore, Campbell, Nixon, or Marshall to drop to them and they were just all scooped up. Chicago goes back to their board and somehow finds value at a position of need, although it's not as sexy as the aforementioned picks. This player is versatile as a T/G, with most projections having him at guard.
The Chicago Bears select Alex Leatherwood, OL, Alabama. PM sent |
The Tennessee Titans select Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia
|
The Indianapolis Colts select Dillon Radunz, OT, NDSU
A North Dakota St tackle to protect the NDSU QB. |
The Steelers had a hunch that the Colts would be taking an OT, but had zero stress as there are multiple OTs left that we are comfortable with.
The Pittsburgh Steelers select Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame The Steelers wanted to take a LT in round 1, but had their preferred prospect (Jenkins) snatched from their grasp by the evil Jets. Fortunately, the board played out perfectly and they are able to secure a LT they are confident can start day 1 at pick #55. |
MahomesMagic sent me his picks last night
The Seattle Seahawks select Jay Tufele, DT, USC |
Sean Payton is clenching his butt cheeks hoping his guy makes it to them
|
3rd round is up guys!
|
The air turns cold and the crowd grows quiet as a tattooed man takes the stage. His anger is palpable.

"Fourteen years," Deniro says. "Fourteen years in prison because of Nick Nolte not defending me properly. Fourteen years in North Carolina prisons until I caught up with him in Cape Fear. Nick Nolte, who starred in Mulholland Drive alongside Chazz Palminteri."
"No defense." "North Carolina." "Chazz Palminteri." He pauses for dramatic effect. "What, do I gotta spell it out for you?" Chazz Surratt, LB, North Carolina. |
Deniro peeks into Duncan_Idaho's window at night in a rainstorm, raps on the glass while laughing maniacally, and tells him that his pick is on the clock.

The Cleveland Browns select Jamin Davis, OLB, Kentucky
Cleveland is shocked he’s available this late other needs but too much value and potential. |

Keeping my mouth shut right now. Don’t want to ruin someone’s safe space.

The New Orleans Saints select Jabril Cox, LB, LSU
|
The Buffalo Bills select Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky.

I got a feeling Billay is about to **** the Chiefs...
But I have a plan B. |
There were 4 players on my list taken within the last 10 picks.
With that said The Packers filled a need in the 1st round with Asante Samuel Jr. I was tempted to go defense on this but I was unsure of the players medicals so instead i'm going to give Rodgers another weapon. The Green Bay Pay Packers Select: Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami |
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck you, Billay.

Who made the Jamin Davis pick?
|
Actually, that was my plan B.
The Kansas City Chiefs select Quinn Meinerz, C/G, Wisconsin-Whitewater |

With Cosmi and Meinerz, the OL is pretty much set for the foreseeable future. You just need a RG or C of the future depending on where Meinerz ends up.
Now we can get back to drafting playmakers. |
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Elijah Molden, CB, Washington
Molden is a true nickel/slot corner, which will allow Jamel Dean and Sean Murphy-Bunting to strengthen the outside position opposite of Carlton Davis. Ross Cockrell was a subpar nickel for the Bucs, who rarely saw the field and is a free agent. Molden has a ton of range and is a great cover corner, but size concerns keep him on the inside. |

Nice to see somebody else falling into the same trap as me! |
The Jacksonville Jaguars select Richie Grant, S, UCF
|
Well, that made my choice easy as I was debating between Molden, Grant & .......
The New York Jets select Aaron Robertson, CB, Central Florida. |
Lawrence
Toney Freiermuth Onwuzurike Grant What a haul for the Jags in just the first 2 days. They can do some serious damage with all of those high picks. |
