Got a FG to go up 20-17 but that would have likely made it 24-17

Looks like they had it blocked for a TD to me. If everyone keeps their blocks (and no holding calls) and I don't think a defender touches him.

That's why I think everyone who is crying "ding dong, the witch is dead" because the Chiefs lost to the Bills by 4 points aren't really looking at the game.

KC was close to breaking it open a couple times early. Not even talking about the missed FG or the INTs, but if they hit on a couple plays they missed...

More homerism.

This kind of thing happens for both teams.

If the Bills hit on the plays they missed, they would have broke the game open too. Both teams had plenty of misses.

Which plays exactly?
Allen made two throws that won the game. Both easy throws where the wide open receiver beat Williams. That was it.
Mahomes threw a perfect ball to MVS and his buttery fingers couldn't hold on to the ball. Missed TD right there. Flips the outcome of the game.

If you wanna talk about homerism, as a Bills fan, you can't watch that game and come out of it saying that Allen is equal to or better than Mahomes. He will always be below Mahomes. It's a fact of life, like the sun rising in the morning and the ocean waves moving back and forth.

Dude, both teams and quarterbacks made mistakes in the game. It’s ok to say that as a Chiefs fan.

Chieftain 10-21-2022 06:59 PM

Allen had wide open receivers all game long. Had an eternity to throw the ball to those receivers. He was playing against a lesser defense and still did not prove himself to be better than Mahomes. Context as always matters.

We'll see in the playoffs, mother****er.

I just find it ironic that a thread that is about an article praising the Bills defense and Leslie Frazier and quoted in the OP as saying "forget about" Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes has de-evolved into...well, an argument over who's better between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.

ROFL
LMAO

I do luzz me some irony.

Missing Diggs wide open in the endzone. Fumbling the ball in the redzone. McKenzie dropping a TD pass. Not calling tripping on Clark on a key 3rd downZz

It was pretty equal. Bills missed plays. Chiefs missed plays.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I dont know how any intelligent football fan could call Knox “wide open” on the game winning TD. Allen threw a rope into fairly tight coverage.

Personally, I still have Mahomes above Allen. And it’ll be that way until Allen gets a ring.

Allen was definitely better than Mahomes in that one game (Sunday) though.

But are certainly a lot of people who see Allen as better than Mahomes. Chris Simms has been saying it since the offseason. And I just saw this from Acho too:

Josh Allen is the best QB in football.

Anything Patrick Mahomes can do, Josh Allen can do. I guess the Bills owners no longer have stake in the Patriots anymore.

ThyKingdomCome15 10-22-2022 03:13 AM

You notice every team who gets lucky against KC has a defensive genius wearing a headset? Goodness....

Pasta Little Brioni 10-22-2022 12:16 PM

It's the "I hope Mahomes shits himself today" defense

Oh and knowm...I mean Dr Ryan. Bookmark this post. You have a 2 year window to win a SB as all that stupid hero ball will result in is being called Cam Allen after that.I know Sunday was your Superbowl, but that idiot isn't holding up in this league playing like that in meaningless games.
