Wasn't very loud today at Buffalo for the Bengals... 3 new linemen in Arrowhead, burrow is going to have to throw fast.

Sure was nice to see Buttkicker get his head right and have a perfect day with a 50-yarder. Especially watching Maher turn into Ray Finkle. We're going to need him next week.

The cocky is Burrow. When is Mahomes cocky?

I'm not sure how Burrow is liked, he's a super cocky mother ****er. He's literally the jock from an 80s movie that constantly walked around with the lineman so he could shit on everyone without consequences.

Recipe for beating the Bengals
Pacheco/McKinnon end with combined 200 total offensive yards. Kelce has 10 catches, 80 yards and at least 1 score Orlando Brown is able to handle Trey MVS doesn’t have any crucial drops Hardman is able to play and has a couple impact jet sweeps Kadarius Toney has a big game and breaks one for a score. Skyy, Juju, Watson snd Gray make the list of their opportunities Not more than one big turnover |

I can't wait to give the Bengals an ass-kicking. Their season is ending next week.
|
Defense needs to find a way to create a turnover or two.

Also 8 QB hits and 4 sacks will slow down just about any offense. Think the recipe is clear: stop the run, consistent pressure, and eliminate plays +20 yards. Easier said than done of course. |

They’re gonna wanna dink and dunk with that ol
It’s time for the chiefs dl to show up |

They gashed us though, which was extremely disappointing. Our pass rush and run defense have a major prove-it game coming up. |

Chiefs open as 1 to 2.5 point favorites.

If it's radio, then yes it would likely be Harlan. |

Allen hasn't done shit. If forced between taking Allen and Burrow, I would easily pick Burrow and wouldn't think twice. |
Let’s talk about the Bengals (AFC Championship Rd)

Harlan is the radio call on westwood one. |
Unfortunately Buffalo did not force Cincy to use anywhere near as much energy as one would hope.
|
Never ever count Patrick Lavon Mahomes II out. If there is one player that can beat the extremely lucky and arrogant bungholes, it's Mahomes. His ankle health obviously will determine the outcome of this game. I have trust in this team and the coaching staff. It has to be a team effort from top to bottom. Go all out and defeat those imbeciles.

I've noticed cincy likes to send 3 out and get 5-6 yards off a little dump off to the RB or tight end

I wonder if Spags will drop Karlaftis in coverage on Chase?

Hopefully we get the ref who did our recent game vs the Raiders

No Von Miller really made a difference for the Bills pass rush though. It was never the same without him. That secondary has also been really bad, so Burrow was able to get rid of the ball quick. The Bills have been shredded on the ground too. So maybe that explains it. Our pass rush HAS to get to Burrow this time. Zero excuse not to. That line wasn’t great before the injuries, and is a bunch of JAGs now. I think you can get by for a game with that line, but it can’t be sustainable. Otherwise, why would any team ever invest in the OL if you can just scheme protection like this? |

If Jones wants that extension, he needs to wreck this game. |
Really surprised to see the Chiefs favored, but it’s probably a good thing. Money will likely pour in on Cincinnati.
|
This team consistently raises its level of play everywhere when QB1 is less than 100%. Look for the defense to be focused and ready to pick up Mahomes.

I heard that the Bills’ pass rush was bottom third after Miller went down.
KC’s pass rush win rate is 15th for the season. But they’ve been on an uptick lately. Wonder where they rank over the last several weeks. |

Man **** these guys. Why can’t Mahomes be 100% for this one **** **** ****. These dudes are arrogant and already think they’ve won. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re overlooking the Chiefs given their 3-0 record against us. They deserve a beat down.

The Chiefs have one thing left to do: just go out there and let your nuts hang!
|
They've got the right to talk trash right now. 3 straight, including the one that mattered the most.
KC is going to have to play clean and have a pretty close to healthy Mahomes to break the streak. Re-watching the previous matchup... things that stand out: 1. The Chiefs' O showed some nice counters to what the Bengals had done to them in the second half. Good balance, consistently finding success. Sans the turnover to Kelce, the offense was good (Touchdown, touchdown, missed FG). 2. The defense was noticeably better with Gay in the game vs. Darius Harris. Hopefully Spagnuolo notices that when they're prepping this week. 3. The Bengals' OL played REALLY well in this game. Some of it is Burrow getting the ball out quickly, but the right side of the line held up well against the Chiefs. 4. Semaje Perrine is a beast. I think he gives them more than Mixon, honestly. 5. Carlos Dunlap played a really good game for KC in this one. 6. Burrow gets it out so quickly. Have to take approaches that focus on that. Press the WRs. Get hands up on the DL. Spy Burrow with Gay and have him get in passing lanes. Etc. Mix it up, but come in planning to have to counter that quick game. |
Oh, and...
7. Most of the Chiefs' operation/success on offense in the 2nd half was Mahomes playing from within the pocket and operating in the flow of the offense. Not much freelancing/scrambling. I find that encouraging considering his mobility is likely to be less than usual |
I def hope that the Zebras stay out of the jump balls more
|
I'm just embracing myself for the bullshit "Burrow chucks up a duck to Chase" and a horseshit PI call is made because the "WR is trying to come back for the ball".
|

Thornhill and Reid have played pretty well lately, so hopefully we have better success defending that. I do remember McDuffie holding up really well in coverage on the outside. |
They have to win. Because having 5 straight AFC Championship games at home and only winning 2 of them would be a nightmare I'm not prepared for.

Lael Collins played a really nice game for the Bengals on the right side, and Jonah Williams played well, too. Will be critical to see how that looks in this one. At this point in the season, I would take the Chiefs' DL group over the Bills. |
