Hey, it works for Cinci fans. I'm guessing we'll see this from a lot of fanbases as Mahomes' domination of the NFL continues.

It really was a boneheaded play. You are better off giving up the touchdown than getting called for holding.

Horrible field led to that. The Eagles defensive ends and their ability to cut quickly is their strength. They were slipping the entire game. Can't get a sack when you can't cut hard like you are used to.

morphius 02-13-2023 08:27 AM

heck, the different in the first half was a missed FG and a blatant pass interference on 3rd an 8ish where they grabbed juju and pulled him backwards before he could make the catch. Right in the middle of the field!

So yeah...

I like Mahomes. He's a great player. He wasn't the best QB on that field last night, though. The throws Hurts was making were ridiculous. He should have been the MVP even in the loss.

The field had an impact for both teams and I read a story this morning that the players were talking with each during timeouts about how bad it was.

We lost 2 players Week 1 for a good chunk of the season in Arizona and Kyler lost his season as well. NFL\Arizona needs to come up with a solution and both teams were lucky no one was seriously injured.

So yeah...

Middle of the field is key here. it is much easier to miss these in traffic like that. When on the edge in the open like the last one it is very easy for the ref to see it.

Absolutely affected both teams. Only difference is the Chief's DL strength are the DTs (Jones), which doesn't require the deep cut of a DE.

The ball was intentionally overthrown to help sell the hold to the refs. If it hits his hands they may not call it.

It was overthrown because he was knocked off his route. Juju flattened his route and had to run more of a wheel route. Mahomes was throwing to a spot and for it to be that overthrown that kinda tells you how much jujus route was disrupted.

The Vince Papale, santa bashing, sister back hair combing eagle fans need to know their role, stfu...what a bunch of Jabronis.

The Chiefs gave them a 10 point head start going into the second half. All they had to do was do their part.

At halftime, I told the young Chief fans around me that the Rocky Movies wouldn't have been any good if Apollo got knocked out in the second round, or Drago got stopped in the 5th round.

Rocky needed to get knocked down to prove he was the People's Champ. Philly fans need to recognize their own stories in front of their face and celebrate the greatness they were fortunate enough to be tied to. Kadarius Papale comes out of nowhere and returns a kick to put his team back into it's correct position.

Refs don't let jersey pulls that prevent receivers from releasing out of their breaks be the "precedent" for a game. You're rolling the dice as a defender any time you grab a fistful of a receiver's jersey and pull and it affects his route.

It sounds like you're admitting it was technically the correct call, by rule. You're just salty because it happened on third down in a critical part of the game. You should be upset with Bradberry, not the refs.

KC played on the same field. Also Hurts played a great game, but some of his throws were the product of great plays by their TE. He also had a fumble that gave KC 7 points. Mahomes was practically flawless. He threw for fewer yards, but that's because they didn't have to. KC outgained the vaunted Eagles run game on the ground. Hurts has more rushing yards than Mahomes, but Pat had a high ankle sprain and never does designed runs. Most running QBs will outgain him.

1. The ball being overthrown was irrelevant. They called defensive holding, not pass interference. Your ignorance of NFL rules is not our fault.

2. JJSS had to adjust his route BECAUSE of the hold. That's why he was in a wheel to begin with.

I mean, if you're going to talk about education and eating glue, you might want to take a look in the mirror. You're in way over your head here. We actually know football.

Holding a receiver coming out of his break disrupts the play, moron.

Bottom line is that after today, nobody is going to remember the Eagles' not getting a stop on any drive in the second half, getting 0 sacks on the game, or blowing a double digit lead in the 4th quarter, or a textbook penalty being called. There's just going to be a trophy in our case that isn't in yours.

This bad field excuse for why the Eagles elite pass rush being a non factor is nonsense. Did they rack up 70 sacks only in good conditions this year? Pretty sure they didn't. They got some sacks in bad conditions as well.

Simply put (and what no one wants to acknowledge) is that KC's Oline dominated the Eagles and rendered them ineffective.

Well here in the Midwest, we have Superbowl Championships.

But you can't call that at that point in the game! ROFL

What it really is and we as Chiefs fans need to accept it is that so many people out there want KC to lose that they pump up another team. When that team ends up losing it is so unfathomable that the only way they lost was because of the "refs".

Horrible field led to that. The Eagles defensive ends and their ability to cut quickly is their strength. They were slipping the entire game. Can't get a sack when you can't cut hard like you are used to.

lol... you couldn't sack a gimpy mahomes

imagine how big your asshole would've been torn open if his plant foot was 100%

your dirty ass team was diving at his ankle every play

i hope a huge beastly eagle swoops down and rapes you while you're sunbathing nude in a forest

Ok, I feel bad. On the east coast we have schools and stuff. I am used to conversations with people who have the ability to read and comprehend. I can see here that most people here focused on the glue eating rather than the reading. No judging here. You do you. Enjoy the win that the rest of the country sees as tainted. Peace.

And so it begins. All civility goes out the window when the opposing fans return to blame the refs for a loss.

Bitching about the field like it didn't **** up our team as well. We're built on speed and quick cuts. You know...shit we couldn't ****ing do last night because of the field.

Must suck to know that your team was fraudulent from the get go and your defense got absolutely ****ing owned by a QB on one good ankle.

Well, Eagles fans and fans that wanted KC to lose. No different than in the AFCCG. Every other team plays flawless, only KC "gets the calls" though.

One of my personal favorite tweets regarding that was when Edelman complained that penalty should not have been called. I guess only Brady is supposed to get those or something. The hate for KC is real now.

For those Philly Cry Eagles Cry fans,
--- How many times did the Eagles Oline rock back out of their stance BEFORE the ball was snapped for a false start that wasn't called? I counted 4 times. I will rewatch the recorded game tonight and count again.

---How many times were KC receivers held and it was NOT called because ref couldn't see it from their angle? I counted 2 blatant times.

---How did a Eagles receiver catch a ball cleanly, then turned upfield and got lit, fumbled and Bolton scored a defensive TD? Looked like a catch to me.

---How many times did our pass rush get held? I counted 2 times for that.

We can bitch just as much that we got ****ed all game.

Some Philly fans are acting like someone stole their scrapple.

I remember Olson praising those false starts. He said the Eagles player had the mind of a center or something.

Ugh. I knew I've heard that term before and it was ****ing disgusting. A quick Google search confirmed.

Yeah, that might have been the stupidest comment he made all night.

I know that they were an NFC/Fox crew, but god damn it was one-sided.

I normally mute that shit, but I watched with my entire family.
