Did everyone see the overhead angle? There is no disputing this. Toney is so far over

Do you see how there is a yellow line drawn through the ball that goes through Toney and does not touch Von? |

But their anger last night was never really about the refs, it's about the accumulation of mistakes this team makes in the biggest moments. |

This is about Mahomes being frustrated. It starts and ends there for the most part in my view. This outburst wasn't about that play specifically but that play's being emblematic of the entire season. I strongly think Reid is going down the same rabbit hole because if he doesn't he leaves Mahomes hanging out to dry and it's his attempt to try and shoulder some of the blowback. I don't see this as some smoking gun that there's a lack of accountability in the room. Just an abundance of frustration. |

The three hours the Chiefs play every week is something I really look forward to, but lately it's really been waning. Over the last decade or so the officiating has ruined the game. I feel more like I'm watching some dramatization than an NFL football game. |

Teicher asked Andy if he was considering benching Toney.
Andy’s response was that he’s young, but improving. Hmmmm. |
We're long past the point of questioning if there's a lack of accountability. There isn't. The same players make the same mistakes repeatedly and the leaders on our team chose to blow their gaskets at the officials instead.

So much for walking things back. An inch or two from being legal? For ****'s sake, Andy. Look at where Rashee is lined up and compare that to where Toney is. It's not even close. |

These kinds of mistakes all year long have really got me wondering why the WRs are not really getting much better. I guess Rice is getting better but even he is still having drops and fumbles. I know someone mentioned Embree a few weeks ago and got some flack from some people. But I wonder if there might truly be something to that. I think we need more talented WRs, for sure. But I also wonder if the coaching also needs improved. At this point, unless something changes, I don't see the Chiefs getting far in the playoffs. |
Well, yeah. He kind of has to walk it back because he made a complete buffoon out of himself there, regardless of what you think his reasoning was. And it's a damn shame because there absolutely has been some blatant ****ery but now it'll be disregarded.

I think we are seeing why accountability is an issue for this year’s team…

Andy Reid asked about the #Chiefs attention to detail: "It's getting done 90 percent of the time but you've got to keep it right the whole time at this level. My only complaint would be the same argument for another famous offside. It didn't affect the outcome of the play.

I am not disputing that Tomey was offsides, he absolutely was, I am not saying he checked with the official.. he didn't he barely looked at him. I am saying that they were both offsides and it should have been offsetting; further, if the DPI would have been called on the previous play, it is unlikely we would have been in this scenario. |
I think it’s seriously time to move on from Reid

We also never had a losing season with Andy even without Patrick, so I don't know wtf you're talking about. |

Taylor has given up 110 lost yardage this year on 17 penalties… that’s almost like giving up 17 sacks in terms of loss yardage. Can’t have that. |

This is a coaching problem as well. You CANNOT rely on the officials to be on your side. You CANNOT assume that they are going to help you out by telling you you are lined up on the LOS and should move back a few inches. Reid complaining that the officials always warn him is just naive - teach your players to line up behind the ball and if they don't get it right make them run sprints up a hill in practice until they learn to do it correctly. |
Quote:
NFL hiding behind that, but we called them 11 times this year... |

It appears the policy is if just a tad to let the coach player know on the next snap. If blatantly offsides throw the flag. if t he player asks give him a signal to move back or ok. Just guessing but I doubt Tooney checked. Andy/Patrick think it was a tad too far and CHeffers thought it was pretty blatant. |

You are posting pictures from cameras that you have no idea if the camera is even perpendicular to the line of scrimmage. |
I agree with Mahomes and Reid. This is an autistic call for a referee to make in the 4th quarter...You see receivers line up like Toney had all the time and it almost never gets called...The only other time I've seen them take points off the board for this bullshit asinine rule was when Terry McLaurin lined up in the neutral zone on an extra point but in that instance the corner was in press man coverage. This was a play where the d-backs were playing soft at the line of scrimmage. Cheffer's either has Asbergers or he\league is dirty.

Nice troll job. Well you won't be doing it again in this thread. |
So Jawaan Taylor had an excellent pressure rate with a few more penalties but not terrible. He comes in and beats the shit out of Aidan Hutchinson week 1 like we paid him to and then starting week 2 they start targeting him and flagging. He's trying to adjust and can't. His confidence is shaky bc of Chris ****ing Collinsworth.
I'd be fine with that but I see Lane Johnson doing the same thing every week as well as both Bills tackles and nothing. Jawaan Taylor has been targeted all season long |

Our center pulled the ball back as they all do and have been posted why so I won't go over that. I think Andy has better photos, but I think he is right inches offside. |
