That Reddit guy is confusing his black Urus with a Cayenne.

If Rashee was on the left shoulder racing that’s no good. Sounds like the Vette was the one weaving and then they both merged into the fast lane (Rashee from shoulder, vette from middle lane)then hit other cars.

Holding out hope that the vette was the aggressor and Rice has deniability if they can prove he was driving.

If no one died it sounds like a conduct suspension of 6-8 games, maybe?

Leaving the scene? DUI?

They’ll have to prove he was drunk somehow for him to get the DUI. Leaving the scene is bad, though.

Closest thing I can think of is the Georgia kid who was racing and the other car crashed with deaths.

Then he got drafted top 10 and played all year.

Assuming everyone lives and Rice rubs cash on it with a good lawyer, maybe it’s an 8 game deal?

Well sure, and so far I don't even know he was there. But any time a driver flees the scene, pretty bad look.

If there is any evidence of prior drinking and I was on the jury..., I think I know where I come down on reasonable doubt.

It's more than a bad look, fleeing the scene of an accident where someone was injured is a felony on its own.

Rices translator stole the car and raced it.

Hammock Parties 03-31-2024 01:16 AM

Police are looking for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice in connection with a major accident Saturday evening in northeast Dallas, law enforcement officials confirmed to The Dallas Morning News.

A vehicle believed to be registered or leased to Rice was involved in a crash on North Central Expressway at about 6:20 p.m., officials told The News. The law enforcement officials said that police are looking for Rice, and a police call sheet obtained by The News confirmed that law enforcement officials were searching for him in connection with the accident.

His alleged involvement in the crash is unclear. A Dallas police spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Rice was not appearing in Dallas County jail records as of about 12:40 a.m. on Sunday. It was not immediately clear if he is suspected of any charges or if anyone was injured in the crash.

Rice grew up in North Richland Hills and attended Richland High School, where he was a 3-star recruit before committing to SMU. There he became one of the most successful wide receivers in Mustangs history, fifth all-time in yards among SMU receivers.

Yeah, IF he was actually driving the car and drunk and caused a huge wreck, cut him once you verify it. No need to keep that distraction on the team.

I guess it’s a good thing we signed Hollywood. We almost certainly may be going 1st round WR now.

That said, still holding out hope he’s not involved.

Hopefully this is just an eager beaver jumping the gun and report speculating. We’ll see, I guess.

At some point the front office needs to make better decisions with the receiver group. It has been a consistent pattern of bad evaluation for many years.

On second thought... did the eye witnesses actually see Rice or is this just a car that belongs to Rice?

Does he have shitty friends that he lent his car to or did, perhaps, someone steal his car then wreck it?

This may not be on Rice at all.

Fishels 03-31-2024 01:29 AM

I’ll never understand the hit and run mentality. You’re scared of being in trouble….. so you decide to run and put yourself in trouble 100% even if there’s nobody hurt.

Does anyone get away with this? Someone is hurt. Your vehicle is there.

Sounds like you better have a damn good story to not get in trouble here.

And how much less is that trouble if you own up and cooperate? I’d assume it’s much less.

Dante84 03-31-2024 01:34 AM

Not to get him in trouble. But OP, who we now know is extremely reliable, originally posted that an innocent person was killed or seriously injured, and all occupants of both racing vehicles fled the scene.

If someone was killed, I think they wait until family is notified before making it public. So this could be very very bad.

Both of these criminal charges are classified as felony offenses, carrying with them exorbitant penalties. Fines up to $10,000 and anywhere from 2 to 20 years in prison could be the result of a guilty verdict.

Tyreek Hill & Kareem Hunt also seem like good guys in their media appearances, yet both of them have some ugly baggage off the field. It looks like Rashee Rice is joining them in that category. The Chiefs really need to figure out a better evaluation process.

Sassy Squatch 03-31-2024 01:46 AM

The hit and run alone is potentially 6 months in jail. DUI and a serious injury/death on top? Potentially years of prison time.

Henry Ruggs is in jail for 3 to 10 years, but he didn’t run from the cops. I would imagine attempting to get away from this situation probably makes the prison sentence much longer. What a moron.
