Wasn’t Booger’s contract with the Chiefs like 3 years $10 million or something like that?

Yeah, this is fine

Wentz was throwing to guys off the street on 18’ and 19’ and they still made the playoffs

Andy nearly made the playoffs with Alex Smith at QB without throwing a TD to a WR all season. Still went 9-7 that year. Wentz at QB for this current team makes the playoffs, especially with the expanded field.

Mahomes is amazing, but so is Andy.

Exactly. Wentz still has game and some folks just want to believe what the media says

There really are some ****ing idiot posters here.

Kelcie said he’s super impressed with Wentz’s arm strength and accuracy when they were working out together at OTA’s. I’d post the article but I’m still a rookie apparently and not allowed to do that yet

Heh, I completely forgot we signed Wentz. So, he's showing out a little in practice? Good to hear.

If he can be properly rehabbed in one offseason, dude is capable of winning it all... smart money says Andy can work some strange magic with Wentz if necessary

Wentz's issues - aside from locker room perception - have always been more about turnovers/carelessness and presence in the pocket rather than arm strength or accuracy.

He's leagues above Henne and Gabbard though in terms of a ceiling if Mahomes goes down.

You won’t be allowed to post articles until you spell Kelce’s name correctly. ;)

There’s not even a question. We would win it easily.

Wentz might have a higher ceiling...

Best season for Wentz in QB rating 101.9 and 102.2. In QBR 78.6.
Best season for Herbert in QB rating 98.3 and 97.7. In QBR 70.9.

Matt Castle had never looked as bad as what I witnessed from Carson Wentz. And thats with Gibson, Mclaren, a stud rookie wide-receiver, a serviceable tight-end and a good running back. Chiefs got scammed. He'll be more focused on turkey hunting intel than Andy Reids work-of-art playbooks.

Chad Henne wasn't exactly Joe Montana in his short career as a starter

big nasty kcnut 07-04-2024 01:36 PM

Wentz is a solid backup. I hope to not see until we clinch home field thru out the playoff.

bet we see him in the preseason which would make the games a little more watchable

Bump 07-04-2024 04:04 PM

I'm calling his week 18 game now

340 yards

3 TDs

40 rushing yards

Andy has a history of making schlubbs into pro bowl level competitors.
He finally gets a guy with all pro talent to tutor. As a back up no less.

Bad news NFL: season ain't over if Mahomes misses 7 or 8 games. With this defense Big Red 1 and Big Red II can keep these guys in the playoffs and perhaps even win a game or two once there...

The scene: The playoffs.

Mahomes is held off the field over a controversial hit while down 4 late in the 4th quarter. He’s fine, but has to go through concussion bullshit.

Wentz comes in and executes a brilliant drive for a touchdown to win the game. Bills fan decides to jump through a tables onto concrete without the table.

It better go like that. Will be damn salty if he ever doesn't live up to the honor of his role as a Chief.
