I sat in the upper deck during my first game there in July 2017, and it wasn't awful, but definitely on the warm side (plus more humid with monsoons)... it was far more comfortable at the Cards stadium for the Chiefs game when it was 105⁰ outside.

Didn't know that about the roof, yikes.

I went during the peak of our recorded breaking run of number of days above 110F last summer so that certainly didn't help

The other time it was for a Royals game so I sprung for a $20 club level ticket and practically had the entire stadium to myself which was just weird

I went to their WC game in 2017 (iirc) and it wasn't anything special... it was nice to see the stadium full, but didn't nearly match the energy of the Royals playoff games.

The last game I went to was similar to your experience... had nice seats and Moustakas was playing for the Reds. Not much energy, not a ton of people.

I've always like sitting out in the TGIF seats and having a full meal brought to you.

But you're technically correct. I was off by definition by about a block and a half to the west. On a sidenote, I actually went to John Sherman's house and sat on his sofa with none other than Twisted Chief himself!

I am, but the 1.5 blocks between Mo and KS are the most important in the city! I want to know more about the visit to his house...was it at 3 am and were you two wearing all black?
