Last time Bert got a kicker off of a practice squad, it turned out pretty well. Maybe this will too.
|
I am sure they are aware of his college stats. Let's not act like we have idiots running the team like other teams. Then again there may not have been much to choose from.

That's a lot of potential points left on the field. Have to hope we don't need him until he gets plenty of reps on the repaired leg. Tough season...but we just keep winning so....

Oh good. It's been a few weeks since we've had a roster changing injury. :banghead:

Profiles similarly to Buttkicker. Unlike those 2 Matts from the 2022 season. |
OK, so we need to score touchdowns and hope for the best.
WTF man? |
Well, according to Wiki he is perfect:
Year Team GP Overall FGs PATs Kickoffs Total points FGA FGM Pct Lng XPA XPM Pct KO Avg TB 2024 IND 1 0 0 – – 3 3 100.0 5 65.0 5 3 Career 1 0 0 – – 3 3 100.0 5 65.0 5 3 |
I trust Dave toub

Do we need to sacrifice a live chicken to end this injury bullshit?
|
What could it hurt? No wait, I didn't mean to phrase it that way.

What this mean Clayster

Thanks to Tucker and Pineiro missing a few field goals yesterday he's now currently #1 in accuracy.

More on the political side of things, feel free to move since it has nothing to do with his injury.

Basically Butker's political fund raiser was the equivalent of Bird Lady's catering the Arrowhead Kingdom Invades Atlanta event

Makes me like him even more tbh. The world needs more office supplies.

those particular "citizens" who are for ethics is a bit of an oxymoron

Lots of nonprofits spend a portion of their funds on fundraising, but not 90%. |

You could explain it that he hired a bunch of fundraising companies to help him raise money, they barely raised anything, and everything went to them. It’s bad business rather than something nefarious. |

JC, this is the longest 4 weeks in human history. When is Butker supposed to get back on the gd field already?

Damn. I'd pay $$$ to see him run out on the field this weekend. Anything to make this dumbass thread go away, lol. |

I just can't imagine Butker being THAT stupid; the contracts explicitly spell out how much they'll take for expenses. Otherwise, he can sue them. But, perhaps he is. Of course, I also can't imagine anyone being stupid enough to send him money. Ultimately, though, it's difficult to feel too sorry for those reeruns, as I can't imagine what they thought was actually going to happen with their money. |
So anyway...
He coming back soon? |

Our Hall of Fame kicker is a part of all of this. |
What's the latest timeline? We were so fortunate tonight we finally needed one of these guys to make a long one and he hit it. He's hit two game winners.
But we could really use Butker against the Steelers because that's probably a field goal game in cold weather. |

I'd keep resting Butker as long as possible and maybe bring him back in week 18 for some practice. |
