Mistake doesn’t matter, this is done

mr. tegu 12-05-2024 10:14 PM

Get the stop here and they could get it back with probably a minute.

Too late now, I don't think the Lions want to score a TD.

Get the stop and have a minute left

tk13 12-05-2024 10:17 PM

Huge holding call. They might have to be aggressive now to get in better FG range.

They have no intention of scoring a TD

Well that was embarrassing.

Hammock Parties 12-05-2024 10:20 PM

Any Lions injuries?

tredadda 12-05-2024 10:20 PM

What a block!

KC_Connection 12-05-2024 10:20 PM

You could have given Detroit 1st and 40 and they still would have gotten the 1st down

mr. tegu 12-05-2024 10:21 PM

Clear OPI.

jerryaldini 12-05-2024 10:21 PM

Looked like offensive PI to me

siberian khatru 12-05-2024 10:22 PM

GO FOR IT, DAN

tk13 12-05-2024 10:22 PM

Here we go again. Go for it Campbell!

jerryaldini 12-05-2024 10:22 PM

They have time!

KC_Connection 12-05-2024 10:22 PM

Another Campbell decision LMAO

suzzer99 12-05-2024 10:23 PM

Keep doubting Zayne Anderson!

mr. tegu 12-05-2024 10:23 PM

Should kick this probably.

tk13 12-05-2024 10:23 PM

LMAO Here we go.

Go for it Dan

Imon Yourside 12-05-2024 10:24 PM

LOLFENSE

jerryaldini 12-05-2024 10:24 PM

That's so annoying. Shouldn't be rewarded for that shit

siberian khatru 12-05-2024 10:24 PM

DaFace 12-05-2024 10:24 PM

KC_Connection 12-05-2024 10:25 PM

Goff falls down and they still get it LMAO

So lucky

GabyKeepsMeWarm 12-05-2024 10:25 PM

Wow. Dan Campbell is ****ing insane.

scho63 12-05-2024 10:25 PM

That's one hell of a set of balls or one nut bag.

EPodolak 12-05-2024 10:25 PM

Packers had their shot.

George Liquor 12-05-2024 10:25 PM

Wasn't Goffs knee down when he still had the ball?

Or am i seeing things

KC_Connection 12-05-2024 10:26 PM

They’re gonna lose another playoff game like that and it’s gonna be hilarious

DJ's left nut 12-05-2024 10:26 PM

So ****ing stupid.

That’s the kind of decision you make when you are underdog, not a favorite who is decidedly the superior team

That level of risk will cost them down the road

RunKC 12-05-2024 10:30 PM

Lions defense is gonna cost them. Losing Hutchinson has weakened that defense big time

He goes for 4th down at times when it’s not needed…it will **** them in the playoffs like it did last year.

They played really hard but there were some talent gaps on the D.

Can they really play with their hair on fire like this every single week? I just don't think they can.

The only team I can think of in recent memory that managed to maintain this kind of intensity through an entire season and post-season was the 2013 Seattle Seahawks.

It can happen but man it's tough.

RealSNR 12-05-2024 10:49 PM

Detroit is so bad that when its residents get asked what part of Michigan they're from, instead of holding up their hand and pointing to a spot, they take off their pants, bend over, and point to their butthole!!!!!

philfree 12-05-2024 10:52 PM

Bills in the Dome next week will be interesting hopefully the Chiefs take care of business Sunday Night. That said I think the Rams are capable of an upset this week. I'm I picking it? Haha no!

philfree 12-05-2024 11:15 PM

"We always find away" is Campbells rally cry except they didn't just find a way they dominated the game. If not for the stupid ass fourth down attempt it's never tied at the end till the FG.

UChieffyBugger 12-06-2024 12:07 AM

It's interesting watching them. Goff is still a basic qb who gets easy reads and guys schemed open by Ben Johnson. Stopping that run and making him have to win the game is the recipe to dealing with that team and is exactly what Spags has done to several of the tough teams we've faced during this run.

Another thing that is interesting is that secondary can be had. They play man to man and we all saw Watson have his way time after time with Davis. And Arnold was also getting beat tonight and giving away fouls. I know they have injuries but that's mostly D-line and LB guys, not secondary personnel. Them having the most fouls in the league could hurt them eventually.

suzzer99 12-06-2024 12:34 AM

Yep. The Bills scare me a lot more than Detroit.

Not true. That secondary and two of the DL were starters. Only their line-backers and some DL guys were reserves.

In58men 12-06-2024 07:48 AM

Dan is getting a little too cocky.

Would love to see them in the SB.

He doesn’t have the smarts like Reid and it’ll catch up to him quick.

O.city 12-06-2024 07:58 AM

He talked about afterward not wanting to have to put it back on the defense with all of it banged up.....It kinda makes sense.

I can understand it, but he’s doing too much. With :40 on the clock or whatever you just kick the field goal and take the lead, IMO.

Not to mention the fact that they were in that tight of a position very likely because he went for it and failed from his own 31.

SHOWTIME 12-06-2024 08:37 AM

If Detroit doesn’t lose another regular season game, they are going to have to extend their winning streak to 18 games if they want the SB…that’s a tall task.

Bearcat 12-06-2024 08:37 AM

I'm glad it worked out last night, despite Goff almost ****ing it up... as hilarious as that may have been, I wouldn't want Campbell to second guess himself before doing such colossally stupid shit in the playoffs.

Exactly.

He did the same stupid shit in the NFCCG last year and cost them a trip to the super bowl. You'd think that he woulda learned by now but nope. He's like the non Italian Nick Sirrani. I can't stand either of them.

I think it still checks out. Basically conceding that if you give the Packers the ball, they likely score no matter where they start, so instead how about the offense convert and keep the defense on the sideline.

Right. I hate to say it but this seems to be shaping up as a Buffalo win. I just think it will be a close game and it's going to come down to shit like this. Not sure Campbell can be trusted in those kind of situations.

It's always the team that hasn't won shit that acts like this.

They gotta fold Buffalo and then I'll be rooting against them the rest of the way

RunKC 12-06-2024 10:54 AM

Yeah the way I see it the Eagles are the best team in the NFC.

Their OL will crush Detroits DL and Saquon will run all over them. Eagles receiving weapons vs Detroits weak secondary is also a huge mismatch.

Fangio’s defense will hold their offense as well. They are not gonna get to New Orleans IMO

I would rather it be KC vs Detroit in the SB for a couple of reasons.

1. Sirianni is a D-bag and the less I see of him the better.

2. If KC three-peats by beating Detroit the tears of all the other fanbases would be epic. Like enough tears to fill the Great Lakes epic.

Detroit will literally have to run it 40 times in that game...they are capable of winning that way.

Eagles defense is really ****ing good. They are a top 5 run defense and are only ranked 7th bc Lamar ran on them. Goff is not Lamar.

They will win the trenches against Detroit

He did the same thing last year versus the Chargers and it worked then.

It makes perfect sense. He made sure his team had the final play and avoided placing his defense against a hot offense.

Eh, that metric is a little skewed. Early in the season PHI lost to both ATL and TB, both good if not great running teams. Since getting thoroughly pounded by TB, they've played 7 teams that don't run the ball well, before beating BAL. And BAL's running game is a little dysfunctional. DET's running attack is probably the best in the league.

However, if PHI can find a way to stop the Lions' running game, yeah, they should beat them, because Goff just isn't good enough to carry the Lion's offense without the threat of that running attack. It's the stopping them part I'm not that confident about.
