The problem with all this is, somebody in the media complains about it, and to the people that don't watch, it's fact. You'd think with all the bs with the media cover ups in the past, people wouldn't take a tidbit of opinion over fact that they can find out themselves, but here we are. |

Funny how all the people that complain that it’s rigged in our favor keep betting against the Chiefs. |
Now they are crying over the flag that was never thrown on the 4th and 5 play. It was a "just in case" flag and "why would they say there was a flag on TV if there wasn't a flag?"
You can tell the people who watch 0 football. The theory is the Refs threw a flag just in case Buffalo converted then picked it up because they didn't convert and though no one ever saw the flag, the TV said flag so it had to be a flag. |

But I do agree with Dave in that the Bills run more of a old school QB sneak and not a tush push. Not sure why they did not have some bigger bodies shoving behind him. |
It's hilarious that every comment on every Breakfast Ball video is "Get rid of Carton! He sucks!"

Look at the 2024 Chiefs wiki page, bottom of the first paragraph
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024..._Chiefs_season |
Schefter yesterday posts a tweet showing numbers for Mahomes penalties. His tweet says "“For all those complaining that Patrick Mahomes gets too many calls, relief soon could be on the way,”
Then he goes on TV today and claims he didn't mean to suggest anything, he's just posting facts :"“The facts are the facts and I presented the facts,” Schefter said. “There was zero—let me be very clear about that—zero intent behind that. I’m a little surprised that people are so offended with factual information. There was zero agenda.” Just unreal. This is the state of sports "journalism". https://www.si.com/nfl/espn-adam-sch...-getting-calls |
A prominent politician once warned that if you win too much, you may eventually get tired of it.
At this point I can confidently say I fully reject that hypothesis. I am not even close to getting tired of all the winning! |

I thought Pacheco was down in bounds on the sideline at the end, but it was hard to tell from the angle they showed. But the Chiefs still made another play to put the game away, something other teams should try rather than crying about officiating.

My favorite thing I see after every win...."I am a die hard Chiefs fan but I can't root for this team anymore because of how much the Refs cheat for them"
Anytime you see "I am a Chiefs fan but...." you know it's a ****ing lie |

History has taught us that the king tends to get those calls. That's just the way it is. It's good to be the king. |
The whining about the refs is funny in that it totally takes away any agency for the players. If the Bills had won, it wouldn't be because Allen took advantage of a mistake by KC and lead his team to a walk off touchdown, rather it would have been because the refs "caved" to pressure and decided to give the Bills the win. I know people don't think that deeply about it but that's the implication of all the refs are rigging games chat
|
Like if I spent all my time since childhood risking injury and practicing to be at an NFL champion level and some nerd pundit was like "oh finally the refs picked the right team" I'd be pretty pissed
|
These idiots can whine all they want about one or two "bad" calls, but here are a few facts.
Josh Allen got the ball back down 3 points with 3:33 left, all 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning. Josh Allen was only able to run 5 plays and only got one first down. Josh Allen couldn't even get the ball past the 50 yard line. Josh Allen couldn't score at the end when he had to. Patrick Mahomes has scored every single time he's been in that position. Mahomes was 6/6 before last night and is now 7/7 when given the chance to have a game winning drive. |
The Boston sports fan guy says the Chiefs are getting massaged calls.
Rich is too nice. He already went after his bald asshole producer on the air. Go get this asshole. Burr went out of his way to shit all over the Chiefs on ESPN after the SB. Claimed they weren't a dynasty with his played out bits. Now that they're pushing for three in a row it's obvious to Bill that it's because they've conspired with the league and it's all show business. Botox and patriot tears are poisoning his mind.

Anyone who says Allen “clearly” got the first down on that 4th and 1 is flat out lying.
There was no angle showing he got it. It was a simple “call on the field stands” type of play. Imagine if we were driving down the field to extend the lead, ran that same play with Mahomes on 4th and 1 and were in the same situation. People would be screaming bloody murder that there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn and it should be Bills’ ball. The whole refs thing is completely disingenuous. |

Maybe look into a play that will get you three to six yards there and not end in a pack of twelve guys huddled at the LOS like the Chiefs would do. |

Quote:
#1 The Chiefs knew what was coming and they were ready for it. #2 The minute Allen ran into the line and turned his back with the ball behind the LOS, it gave the ref enough of a view to call it "no good", even if he may have "inched" his way past the LOS with the ball (which you can't legitimately see from ANY angle). Horrible play call, and even worse execution. F em. |
Quote:
I was waiting for them to run a misdirection pass or option and they never did. It was doubly weird when the Chiefs scored twice doing that very thing. |

“This time for sure!” |
I haven’t seen it since the broadcast because for some reason no one wants to show it (pretty telling in and of itself), but I swear that the overhead view of that 4th down play clearly showed the ball never got to the line.

I was talking to a guy wearing a Mahomes jersey that didn't know who Derrick Thomas or Lin Elliot was and it kinda pissed me off. |
