That's what I love about this game. For this type of mission-based stuff, it's better to see things happen slowly on paper than to have it all happen real time like a video game. A lot of times while I was creating the missions, I'd be really stoked, rooting for a beat-up plane to make it back while I was watching it happen.

I have played a few war games here and there. One of my favorites is called Thunder at the Crossroads, which is a Gettysburg game. While playing that game I have been deeply moved by the carnage. All while rolling a few dice, moving some tiny pieces of cardboard around, and making little chicken scratches on paper. :shake:

What a horribly grossed out movie, but I'll just say there's one character who spends the whole movie with the back of his head about to flip out and he keeps having to hold it together to keep his brains from falling out.... yeah...

I've got to admit this had me actually nervous. We've got a few medals coming our way. Purple Hearts. The only medal no one wants but cherishes the most once he receives it. I've been blooded and receive one. We got our asses kicked but make a safe landing without loss of life. The crew gets wasted swilling Gin that evening.:thumb:
