RealSNR 03-14-2004 01:59 PM

chiefsca.... push the trigger on the deal. I'm ready

Rain Man 03-14-2004 02:00 PM

Remember, you have to draft like you're Matt Millen, so make it a nonsensical pick that has nothing to do with the team, like "Apple Pie."

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 02:01 PM

SnR to trade that far down it's your first and second

if you want to risk the player going in the next couple of picks go ahead

RealSNR 03-14-2004 02:02 PM

When the deal goes through...

The Dallas Cowboys have traded first round picks with the Tennessee Titans. The Tennessee Titans are now on the clock

With the 22nd pick of the 2004 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans {abnormal pause} select Kevin Jones, Running Back, Virginia Tech

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 02:02 PM

Mr. Kotter 03-14-2004 02:30 PM

The Vikings are interested in trading up in the Second Round: AND would throw in a pick: picks 33-38, willing to part with a third round pick, in addition to swapping in the second....picks 39-49, willing to part with a fourth round pick (depending) in addition to swapping in the second.

Anyone interested? :hmmm:

Rain Man 03-14-2004 02:30 PM

Nice doing business with you.

The Cleveland Browns, with the 27th selection acquired from the Dallas Cowboys, select mammoth offensive tackle Shawn Andrews of Arkansas.

See Post #209.

Andrews is a good fit here in Cleveland because if he can't play left tackle he can easily move to left guard.

Thanks. WR wasn't a need for us so I was debating between Fitzgerald and Sean Taylor, but hopefully these picks will jumpstart the offense.

Frankly, I thought after I posted it that maybe I offered a little too much, but Cleveland's needs weren't aligning with the available talent ten picks down the road. I think it was a win-win.

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 02:38 PM

chiefscafan having a draft like jimmy johnson use to traded out of the first picked up an extra 4th two 2nds and an earlier third.

RealSNR 03-14-2004 02:39 PM

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 02:39 PM
