Did a fairly light workout yesterday. Taking today off. Have a 3 hour kettel ball seminar tomorrow. Stoked!

Played soccer last night. Haven't been eating over 1000 calories per day this week. Split a dozen fresh Krispy Kreme donuts with the wife (and a generous portion of chocolate milk). Almost puked. Feels great now. Back to not eating.

yeah, nothing has really changed here, all is well. Just crusing along. Stretching my quad helped my knee (almost instantly) ... So, that was correct. Thanks.

Just checking in. Have a chocolate craving. Not giving in. Just figured that I would put that in this thread. That way, if I give in... I am a liar and not credible. Since I pride myself on credibility and honesty. I cannot eat chocolate.

Oh, I didn't have some cocoa rosted almonds.... but that isn't chocolate. I want a big Snickers bar.

Oh, and I am down 18.5 lbs as of this morning. I can see my upper abs pretty well. I am beginning to worry that even dropping a full 25lbs won't get me quite as cut as I was hoping. We shall see.... so long as I keep a handle on my cravings.

Oh, and the kids want to go to PF Changs tonight because I am back from KC. It is my favorite place to eat. I will struggle not to over eat.

Yesterday I did what my trainer calls 10-10. It is this: 1 min on the Step Climber--then 1 1/2 mins on treadmill and then 16 jump squats--do the routine 10 times without resting. UNF***INgBELIEVABLE! My HR was 171 almost the whole time. After I did that-10 times-I did what he calls the 1 min workout--1 min on the step climber-1 min on the elyptical-1min of the stair climber-1 min on the bike and then 1 1/2 on the treadmill--4 rounds, no resting. I was dead when it was over...

I made a tri tip covered in pablanos and jalapenos. All kinds of seasoning, no salt at all. baked the tri tip at 425 for 40 mins..made a salt-free guacamole and salt free salsa...side of veggies...It was killer!!!

\Then I did the Cardio X on P90X this morning... egg white omelet with some left over trip tip ;-)

Nice. I love these sorts of brutally simple workouts. That's how a lot of Crossfit workouts look. They seem so simple and "easy." Then you do them, and you feel like you're going to die.

Yep--People stare at me when Im doing this stuff. They cant believe it. It gets crazy results too. He has me crawl on my hands and feet, backwards, around the gym...and in many cases he makes sure Im going uphill. I told him I was gonna puke on him last time I did it. He said he was glad he was "wearing black shoes--just dont hit the pants"...he's a ****er, and I love him for it.

Sunday is my cheat day. And, for lunch I did have 10 buffalo wings. I drank tea and didn't have any fries though.

Last night, we were coming home from church and the kids wanted McDonalds. We have told the kids that they can McDonalds no more than once a month. Well, we hadn't been since October, and my youngest daugher put it together. So, I felt compelled to take them. They each had a burger, chocolate milk and apple dippers.

But, it was my cheat day.... and I wanted a Big Mac, Large Fries, Apple Pie and a Super Sized Coke to wash it all down. Only, I didn't do it. Instead, I drove to Panda Express, ordered off their wok smart menu, and got the firecracker chicken, mushroom chicken and mixed vegies(instead of fried rice), and washed it down with unsweetened white pear tea.

Anyways, as I was sitting there enjoying my mixed veggies.... I was just very proud of myself for not giving in to eating so poorly just because it was my 'cheat day'.

I am not swearing off Big Macs, or any other burger forever. But, I am glad that I have gotten to the point that my health is more important that my cravings.

 Bravo. That's inspiring right there. I have a cheat day, but I'm working hard to eliminate it and just eat what I want. The trick is only wanting it about as often as a cheat day would roll around.

I don't want to mark days off of a calendar until I can eat a greasy burger. I just want to get it on the rare occasion that I actually want it. Totally a work in progress. :)

I saw a report on TV from some doctor that was blasting PF Changs. He said that the lowest calorie meal on the menu was over 600 calories. Most are over 2000 calories and have over a weeks worth of sodium in them.

True. The sauce is a killer. I ask for my dishes with sauce on the side...They have a fast food joint called Pei Wei. You can get your dish "stock Velvet" meaning no breading, and sauce on the side. Brown rice...good to go...

They just opened one in my neighborhood a couple of years ago. I never got there, and I had been wanting to go for quite a while. Now, I won't go. Maybe this Christmas. But not until I hit my target weight of around 220. Heh, that's 115 lbs away. It'll be awhile.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with that type of indulgence every once in a while, but I've over indulged for so long that I'm just done with it until I get where I want to be. I am going to tear up some ribs and buffalo wings amongst other goodies this Sunday, but it's been a couple of weeks since I have and I've been in the 1300-1500 calories a day range all week long.

He labeled PF Changs as the unhealthiest restaurant in America. I didn't believe him at first. After he started rolling out the dishes and I saw the caloric value, and the portion sizes, I believed him.

You can eat there--just gotta be smart. Ask fo sauce on the side, and low oil. Also, Buddhas Feast is a very good dish that isnt going to give you a heart attack. ;-)
