Do you seriously think Brady and Smith are comparable?

If you choke down on the short stuff on Brady he will eat you alive on the intermediate passes. When defenses play Brady, they give him the underneath stuff as the lesser of evils. When defensing Smith, teams can cheat up because he isn't a threat to destroy their team downfield.

Smith isn't horrible, but he's a bad match for Reid and isn't a franchise QB.
