I would say on average going over to a friend's house to play a console game is much more common than a lan party. I still say the most fun I have ever had gaming is going over to a friend's house to play a sports game. |
The one positive thing about PC in the sports department is people still do play Madden 08 online. I still consider ps2 madden to be 100x better than any football game made today.
It makes up for a cheap NBA 2k port. |

Besides ... with improvements to internet speeds you don't have to be under the same roof to play with your friends (MMO,HOTSEAT,Integrated Chat) |

Someone else implied it. I was just making a statement about gaming with your friends. It feels unnatural to game with others when you have a pc. If you have a console all you do is bring your controller over. But gaming is more fun in person with friends which is kind of sad because I only have 2 other friends that play games (I am 28). PS2 madden in high school was the shit. |
Hometeam do you want to play Dayz tomorrow (Monday)? What's your schedule like? We should also get the guy with the Phillip Rivers avatar and anyone else who wants to play.

Add me on steam. We can play PC games if it isn't too 'unnatural'
|
Consoles have moved towards being PC's over their history.
Look at the huge difference between them in the 80's and see how they have slowly moved towards becoming a dumbed-down PC today. There is nothing wrong with it, either. They found a niche and are banking huge on it. |

It would be nice to have a poll with age, income level, and what platform is preferred.
People would lie their ass off, so it isn't worth trying. |
