Lewdog what shoes do you squat in? I have a old beat up pair of VS oly shoes and I'm looking at some new Rogue's with the .75 heel or some used AdiPower's on ebay.

Ok - If this is apples to apples - it appears you're saving $110 - as I see the other sites offer these shoes for $200

Simply Red 03-06-2014 11:12 AM

nvr mind - perhaps that was the Adipowers.

Rammstein.

Interesting music to listen to.....any of Zimmer's Batman soundtracks. I've been working out to The Dark Knight Rises lately.

My new thing: 100 pushups a day

I started doing that back in the early fall. I was doing 4 sets of 25 when I started. Now I do two sets of 40, and then one set of thirty later. Crazy thing is, I used to have shoulder pain, and did when I started, not anymore.

heel height is a bit low for my taste. i'm looking to keep the .75" height im using now. those are .5 i believe. i do like the red/black though!

What's up with the heel raise? I typically workout in barefoot running shoes (not the stupid looking 5 finger weirdness).

I'm honestly curious what the benefit is???

I think it's helping me in the gym. Bench and pullups feel easier. Or maybe I'm just getting stronger overall.

Does that mean that it shifts the load from your hammies and glutes or does it add to the total force?

Partially tore my hamstring at the Little Rock Marathon Sunday.
