I'm fine with it. The Lakers were starting to get a bit too likeable.

Indeed.

I can't say I'd be much different if I had a kid in that situation.

Lonzo ball played in an exhibition game? Espn had me believe he was in the NBA finals. He's their new Tebow. His dad is getting rewarded big time for being annoying as shit

People are falling for Lavar's act. He suckered everyone. He did it super smart too, he gained all the attention at first by saying that he could beat Jordan one on one. That just set EVERYONE up to fall for his antics. Its quite genius imo. He got everyone to look at him and he took off with his act. Sucked his son into it and it worked perfectly for him. Its like people dont even know who the number 1 pick is because Lavar put the spotlight on his son. lol

Yeah it worked but it looks like it is going to backfire. His son sucks and is going to make his Dad look like an idiot.

His shot is horrible. He won't last in the NBA too long with that shot.

Lavar even admitted it was a marketing strategy

Pacers/Raptors finalizing a sign and trade. Cory Joseph to Indiana, CJ Miles to Toronto where he will sign a 3 year 25 million dollar contract.

Except for the shooting 41.2% from three as a college freshman.

Yeah, Ball.

Why wouldn't you (or anybody) be a fan, though? Because of his idiot father? He was a really smart player in college and I see no reason that wouldn't extend to the NBA. A very good shooter with excellent court vision and an understanding for the game beyond his years.

Well it's super easy to not be a fan of his, but he is a deserving draft pick and should be a very good NBA player. He's one of the easiest players to hope fail in a long time. Yes, I know it's not his fault. Yes it's because of his dad. That is how it is.

Like Ball would be the first bust to put up good shooting stats in college and then suck in the NBA.

Maybe he will turn out to be a great player and prove me wrong but as of now I don't see it.

He has close to elite passing vision and pushes the pace. Again he's in the mold of kids, he needs shooters and slashers

I'm neither a fan or a hater of Lonzo Ball at this point, but if I was either, it certainly wouldn't have anything to do with his father. He can't control that. But judging by what he put out in the NCAA at his age, he's probably going to be a pretty good player in the NBA.

So he's going to be a bust because he had a poor exhibition game and a weird shooting motion (that has proven very successful). Really piling up the evidence here.

HOw does his son suck, because you dont like the way he shoots a jumpshot? as long as he's creating and hitting shots when he needs to hit them along with making his team better, he's going to be fine.

His dad already won, no matter what Zo does in his career.
