That shot right there is on the "Mic'd Up" SuperBowl show and it clearly was a hold. Up until that shot it was 50/50 for me BUT a real good close up of that shot convinced me what the ref saw and it was a good call.

BTW for FWIW no way Goedert made that catch inbounds. He bobbled that ball the whole time while inbounds and did not have possession until out of bounds. When they said his right foot was down while showing possession, I saw NO POSSESSION whatsoever but rather using his helmet in the process of gaining possession which DID NOT HAPPEN until he was out of bounds.

I wish they wouldn't freeze the video right at the point where you can tell how much the grab impedes Juju's progress and allows the defender to catch up.

Yes this is the "Mic'd Up" piece I was talking about. Clearly a hold.;)

I'm glad they did because it shows you how much tension he put on holding the jersey. The NFL Brass told the NFL Network producers of this show to do this (freeze shot on the hold) to justify the call and back their refs I assure you. The Brass attempting to quiet the Philly fans criticism of the call which will NEVER WORK.

Interesting.:hmmm:

I can't remember there ever being this level of butthurt over a call that's indisputably correct before. You can argue whether the refs should have let it go (they shouldn't, but you can argue it), but you can't argue that it wasn't holding.

I know deep down I'm biased in favor of the Chiefs when it comes to how I see calls, but if the shoe was on the other foot I honestly don't think I would be bitching about this one. There's been a bunch of times that defensive holding is called against the Chiefs and I'm ready to be pissed off, then they show the other angle of the defender pulling the jersey and I'm like "welp, can't argue with that."

Bungholes fans crying that Mahomes getting hit 50 miles out of bounds was somehow not a late hit.
