Veach isn't going to screw the team with one guys contract in the Mahones years. Only Mahomes can get what he wants.

Alex Smith could win us 12 or so games a year. He just couldn't win the last 3 to 4. Mahomes can win those last 3 or 4. So 3.5 seems accurate.
