Wylie just went to work for his guy and shut the hell up about everything. He got a better offer but seemed thankful for the shot. Brown thought it was him against the world.

Moreover, Wylie was the toughest guy on the field in the Super Bowl. It was interesting, I listened to a podcast after the Miami Philly game, and they talked about how when an team with good lines just comes at you all game long it wears good teams down. That's Philly's gameplan. And our OL, Wylie in particular did it to them. That salty ass bitch was ****ing finishing every block.

I'll always respect him for that. Dude was a menace in the Super Bowl.

He blows goats, but I appreciate him.

Good post. Wylie was not good, at all. But I'll credit him that he did get better at playing the position. Still not good enough, though.

I'm looking forward to drinking your salty tears when you're inevitably crying from the Chiefs losing to the Bengals again.

Saved for posterity. LMAO

So, same number of losses against the North as he has against the West, though he's played the West 3x as much.

Impressive. :spock:

Why does he lose to the shitty AFC South so much? He feasts against the AFC West and the entire NFC but only wins 66% of his other AFC division games. Burrow wins 69% of his other AFC games.

Mahomes wins 67% of his SBs.
Burrow wins 0% of his SB.

But you're not trying now to convince yourself that Smith and Taylor are good.

Riiiiiiight. :spock:

In all honesty, after the first couple of games, I wondered if they were either A) a little overrated or B) still trying to figure out how to play in the Chiefs scheme. Or maybe even some combination of both.

And also there was probably a little bit of getting comfortable in their roles with new comrades and all of that. But now there is no doubt in my mind that the tackles are an upgrade from the last couple of years. No doubt, whatsoever.

Is that before or after the montage?

Because all I remember is that montage and discovering who Diora Baird was for the first time.

They're also both REALLY good players, one coming back from injury and the other coming back from the league/refs needing to punish him.

Yeah, Taylor didn't get $80 million for no reason. Smith was always a great pass protector who seems to have somewhat cleaned up his penalties.

This is far and away the best o-line Mahomes has ever had, it's a shame things aren't clicking with the receivers. If they were, my God it would be carnage.
